Yep, probably. But he did manage to get a contact to ball also, so for Kompany I think the same challenge would have been ok
Banned for use by footballers, athletes etc but all the same legal. Common sense, why would a club suspend a player for using substances? Somebody is not using his head here....but then, with a name like a goat...

Honestly i am shocked they have rolled out the excuses, it hasnt taken long to gain the amount of arrogance that includes the behaviour that if you dont win the only thing that can be blamed is the ref or the 'cheating' other players... show some humility!!!
Kolo Toure was banned for 6 months for drugs wasnt he? a slimming pill or summat..

Big men like Skrtel going to ground like big girls is what gives football a bad name....you expect it from the Nani's and Suarez's of this world but from a "powerful" centre back that was simply pathetic.
Earlier in the game Suarez & Kompany went for the same ball. both missed, Suarez ended up catching Kompany's ankle/foot but it was Suarez who lauched in to the back arching swan dive where as Kompany just got on with it......Suarez pathetic, but expected. Skrtel should be expelled from the centre back union for being a girl's blouse!

Possibly time for a bit of sense
Thoroughly enjoyable game,bit like an old fashioned cup tie which are dying out as its usually one team or the other trying not to lose rather than win.I was surprised to see all this "banter" when I got back from the match because I thought all the talk would have been about seriously good performances from Barry and Hart for City and Agger,Enrique and Lucas who I thought was exceptional.I didn't leave the ground thinking we'd been cheated(although Suarez is on the floor more than Heskey for some reason) or the ref had a bad game either,I was just relieved to get away with a point as I thought we looked shattered in the last 20 minutes or so.
I've not seen the replays but I thought Kompany was being reckless and was lucky to not get a second yellow whether he was fouling or not as he seemed intent on not letting Suarez turn and it's just too easy to miss time tackles like that.Didnt notice Adam up to anything so couldn't comment and Balotellis stupid 1st yellow always makes you think the second is around the corner.
For Liverpool fans it must be galling when you can outplay the better sides to struggle to beat the weaker teams,especially at home,I think a dip into the transfer window to get a goalscorer could well see Liverpool back in the top 4 given no European distractions which should be worth a place or two
