Majority of PL clubs > chelsea. John terry's big moment, the chance to win the biggest prize in your clubs history for the club you love...and he steps up, and confidently slots it home....Oh wait!!!

who are Manchester united? is it Manchester City's reserve team by any chance?

if you reason for calling a club a big club is success, then united were tiny before Fergie came along.

also united have spend hundreds of millions through the years

finally, where chelsea are owned by a 'russian' at least its his own money. how much are united in debt?

Wild rover = Epic fail...
ha ha, he called UTD a tiny team before Sir Alex...
what a donkey....
Now Blackburn on the other hand before Jack walker and SAS arrived, and well after they left, what are they now?

OP, tell us what makes a big club in your opinion, then we can all have a good discussion about it

As an Arsenal fan, I know about this as we are a bigger club than Barca

Everton?

And my fellow Roverite is correct, United is merely a giant shirt shop. Fact!

Who cares?

The term 'big club' as a form of banter is fine but thats all it is.

If Chelsea are classed as a "small club" by you or whoever what differance does it make? Will I enjoy going to the Bridge less than you do going to Old Trafford? Of course not.

ok might of made a mistake calling united tiny before SAF, hold my hands up for that

my argument is united where not as big during the 70's or 80's.

big clubs are measured in history, tradition, fan base, etc....not just how well there doing now.

celtic, forest, leeds, villa, newcastle, etc..are all big clubs

United were pulling 55000 in the old division two, some of the best and most fun days to be a united fan. Not a big club?? Also not denying we have spent big money over the years but it is money we earnt. Yes we are in debt now but are our finances in trouble? no.

So why did you take the time to write an article about a "small club"?

No United fan can be taken seriously when it comes to football discussion, it's common knowledge that United fans in general know very little about football.

I don't particularly like Liverpool, but I find their fans far more knowledgeable when it comes to football discussion.

Chelsea have pulled in numbers at SB that United could only dream of.

Old Trafford is by far the worst Ground I've been to for atmosphere considering there is supposed to be 75,000 of you.

fergie fergie

SB used to be a lot bigger than Old Trafford and it was where the FA Cup Final was played whilst the Old Wembley was being built.

Spurs in fact won their first FA Cup at Stamford Bridge

But you agree your statement,'Chelsea have pulled in numbers at SB that United could only dream of.' is wrong?

Most of them sat in those three wheel invalid cars you used to see dotted all around the touchline at SB in the 70s/80s.

Football existed before the 80s. You know, when City and Liverpool were finishing above you every season
