Champion's League allocation

come on did anyone expect city to win it in their first year, especially with barca and madrid... whereas pl now we can give the kids experience, have a crack at the domestic trophies (which I feel confident about) and prepare for next years CL with experience of last years. plus spurs only got one more point than city last year in an arguably easier group....... All in all a lot to be happy about, not too sure why spurs and liverpool fans are happy as now manchester is out of the CL the premier league is priority no cl hangovers.....

Uhhh yeah - City fans....

Not ones at Eastlands.... Would love for you to find me one though :D

Biggest problem at the moment with City Fans is that because youve spent an obscene amount of money, and still have the ability to outspend any club in the world, that you deserve the right to win the League and all the cups.

Pride comes before a fall i'm afraid and should your season become somewhat fragmented now by the next raft of revised fixtures (thursday and Sunday games) then I imagine with Utd the focus will change to the league and the FA Cup. Spurs will undoubtedly be not particualrly bothered about not being in the Europa League later stages, cementing 2nd and chasing top spot. Be careful what you wish for!!

I dont know why you think the finances wind us up? I only care about what is on the pitch in front of me. I pay half of what arsenal fans pay for their season ticket.... and watch great performances.

Personally I enjoy being doped up to the eyeballs, although granted it's a lifestyle choice not everyone agrees with.

We're you one of the fans that were booing an calling for wenger to be sacked a couple of months ago

You all love history and there is a proverb 'history repeat itself'. I think you have just missed that chance by Levy spending 80 million to save you from relegation.

Right, here goes.

Enjoyed our 6 CL games this year, against some pretty big, challenging European teams with great pedigree. I would have taken 10 points at the start. Would have been nice to have a knockout tie or two, but its hardly the end of the world. We're still on a huge upward curve in every respect, Revenue, Performance, Success. Trying to WUM us right now is akin to poking a coma victim having the most intense wet dream imaginable.

However, I cant pretend to be too fussed at being knocked out due to our premier league form and the other domestic cups being available.

We'll get stronger, and we'll have another go next year. At the rate we have improved over the past few seasons I fully expect a tilt at the CL NEXT SEASON. No doubt winning it before any London club has the chance.

Want to WUM someone? Try the rags, for them this european campaign has been an utter disaster, failing against a truly mediocre group after assuring themselves they would qualify. They are hurting.

In short. Suck it Spurs. How does it taste?

Bitter?

bitter about what exactly? your not exactly miles ahead of us in the league and our first CL campaign was far more successful than yours, and we did it on about one tenth of the budget

the amount spurs have spent is getting less and less "1/10" next we will hear that they got modric with a bit of cash thrown in, cause they are such a massive club

How the hell has this article turned into a Spurs vs West Ham bash fest?!
