Barca would take him. Rooney >Pedro, Fabregas.
This season Barca are playing more 3-4-3 with Fab as a false 9, Rooney would be able to get into that team in the formation and in that position.
He would get into city, real, chelsea etc

bruceandpally- you may well have a point there. perhaps valencia filling in at right back was fergie trying to give him playing time. valencia serves a purpose, and is a good squad player. same with young really i guess.

One good aspect of Valencia is that he helps out the defence more then Nani. Good especially when we Dont have a recognized RB

rooney would play ahead of who? silva? ozil?

fabegras is very effective at what he does. he is in fact a longterm replacement for xavi. this current set up is temporary. try again

what i find funny about rooney is him missing a sitter after sitter then he cracks in a couple of beauts against Wolves

They signed Fab cos of his "DNA", he is great player but he is not xavi replacement. Two completely different players.

theres never going to be 2 completely similar players. hence fabregas is the player barca thought would be most adept at filling the void left by xavi.

something fergie should given heed to 3-4 years prior to scholes retiring. but then again we have gibson so fear not, chill.

Modric will be the perfect player to replace Scholes. Already proven in Epl and played a big part in the champions league lasr season for thfc but £45million ??

Modric is not for sale.

valencia is more direct and has good strength
he is very one-footed but he gets more crosses in which is good

To be frank, Ashley Young isn't good enough.

I cant believe all the people turning on Young already. These are probably the same people who championed him as a great signing after the Arsenal game.

All 3 are good wingers, but Valencia and Young are both one dimensional and Nani is inconsistent.

Young is our best option on the left, people seem to forget all the times Nani played on the left over the last couple of years. It didnt work.

I can't believe fickle fans are turning on Young either.

nanis left foot is almost as good as his right, he actually scores more goals cutting onto his left. He's also crossing well with the left season, he's still improving and its starting not matter

You shouldn't judge a player on a few good results when the sun is shining on the team.

As SAF has said a lot of the time, he learns more about players in adversity.

The teams we aspire to reach their level, would Young get into their team? Would they even look at Young?
