It was one of the Kean apologists and they are few and far between. Surely we can't be happy with a lucky 4 points from these 4 games, especially in our predicament...
January - Samba gone, Hoillet Gone, Kean still here. Were doomed.
I said things would looks better at the END of the 6 game run. Correct me if i'm wrong but our record at the end of it could look something like:
P6 W3 D1 L2 = 10 points
(if we beat west brom and bolton - arguably our two easiest games of the 6).
Yes or no wow - do you think Kean should go if we fail to win them two?
Surely one draw and it'd be better in the world of optimism. Again you're talking as if back to back wins will be easily obtained rather than looking how poor the 4 results and performances have been.
When we win neither I'm sure you'll tell us that it'll be better when we're not playing teams in and around us...
Yes or no wow - do you think Kean should go if we fail to win them two?
-----------
Thats wholly hypothetical. can't see us losing both of those games. i admit that if we did lose them both then we would be in a hole that we'd need to get ourselves out of very quickly afte christmas.
He should be gone in the morning, problem is our owners know as much about football as Kean does about managing it.
Wow we need to win them both and no less.
"He should be gone in the morning"
Amen brother.
So Steve Kean still not managed to win 2 games on the bounce OR kept a clean sheet in any match this season OR won away from home
Wow, the question was should he go if we don't win both whereas you've suggested he shouldn't even if we lose both... Unbelievable!
As for this:
"Granted, Yakubu was shattered. But again, like Dunn he would never have completed the 90 mins under normal circumstances and with less enforced subsitutions. Playing under those conditions in the second half was akin to playing with 10 or even 9 men, especially after 70 mins!!"
If you were manager, would you start with two players you know can't last 90 minutes?
Give it up pie, he's a wum, can't answer a straight question! Ignores the ones that are challenging
To put it another way would you still play defensively knowing that most of your first choice defenders had been replaced, hoping to keep a clean sheet?

Dunn rarely plays 90 mins because it is always in Kean's plan to sub him (unless he gets sent off like at Wigan!). I've actually been surprised the number of games this season where Yak has lasted the full 90. I think he was only subbed last weekend to get his ovation for scoring 4 goals and was all-round superb.
So today I was really surprised that he was blowing out of his aarrssee in the 2nd half. Again, under normal circumstances Kean would have the option of bringing Roberts on. We've seen plenty of times when Roberts can be used as an impact sub (Bolton away 2008 anyone?).
The fact that Kean was forced to bring 3 defenders on was a freak occurrence. Live with it.
And MJ, I'm not gonna give answers to hypothetical question, that's not wumming at all. If we beat bolton and west brom...if my auntie had balls...

Unreal, relating to a game 1 million years ago. Wow stop clutching at straws, lose you virginity and get real mate.
'lose you virginity'

sums you right up mate.
sorry for trying to make a point. goodnight.
(it was 3 years ago.)
Just make sure that picture of Kean on your ceiling has been laminated so you can wipe it clean.
WOW does have a slight point and seems to be in a pickle with his concision.
I think from now on we answer or post looking at it from both a positive and negative view.
A/Negative
What a shambles, Kean could not organise a **** up in a brewery (well he probably could) No idea how to organise a team. Bringing on players who don't last hoping for substitutions, stupid in the very leaast, why not start with Goodwillie or Roberts who can last and if anyone gets injured in defense they are still around. Why oh why try to defend for so long with a team with such a leaky back 4? Kean, Venky's get out of our club and get out of football.
B /Positive
Totally unlucky today, took the lead and shut up the pretend geordies. What was wrong with the goal scored by Dann? Another poor refereeing decision and unbelievable injuries to the strong back 4. They held out for 86 minutes and then Robinson is unsighted for the equaliser and no way was it hand ball for the second. Cheating ref.
Respect for Kean and Venk'ys for staying strong, others would have sacked Kean or he would have resigned. Stability is the key now, well done.
Rovers fan in Kent, I agree with you on the Goodwillie point. I'd like to see more of him too. Heard some really good things from scotland last season.
No comment on the rest because I will get pilloried!
Don't pity me Wow I have everything I need in life.
You my dear sir could find that a problem to achieve.
I am at Uni and have a good idea what I'm going to achieve.
Judging from your puerile rants you sound like an uneducated keyboard warrior stuck in a dead-end job. It's a sad reality mate.
My point was that we can all make want we want out of the situation. Some think Kean should go and others that he should stay. One thing we all agree is that we are Rovers fans and what ever our opinion is, it is that, our opinion. Others will sometimes agree, sometimes not. We all come from different backgrounds and different ages. I try to inject humour in to my posts, not always succcesfully I might add.
So lets stop all the personal stuff and agree to disagree about the Club we all love.
By the way I am much better than all of you, as I live in the South East where it is warmer. Can't get a decent chippy though, or beer, I am on my way up this weekend just to stock up on the delights that Hollands Pies have to offer......oh and
Kean out
I know plenty of university graduates struggling to find work mate I wouldn't get to cocky if I were you.
As for me I have what I would call a good job on a good salary with no complaints thanks.
I graduated from the university of life after taking my O levels. I then spent time in the Scots guards which gave me a good grounding to get through life with a determination to succeed. (The right to Guard royal households doesn't come easy)
Keyboard warrior? I don't think so.
Dead end job? Wrong again.
Uneducated? Wrong again.
You? Condescending Pillock.
You? Deluded.
You? Up your own aaarrrrsssseeee.
You wouldn't know reality if it struck you up your baggy darkstar.
