What, exactly did Coyle so wrong today?
he took klasnic of instead of n'gog who has'nt done anything yet.klasnic is our leading goalscorer n'gog as scored once.
Plus brought Davies on with like 2 mins left
Plenty of time to make an impact on the game...
Rowbot, this is taken from the BBC match report:
"The Welsh keeper kept his team in the game as Bolton's second-half pressure grew.
However, it was the hosts who were hanging on at the end as Jussi Jaaskelainen stopped Kevin Doyle's near-post header and substitute Tuncay headed against his own post from a Jarvis corner."
The bit that goes in between those two paragraphs is that both teams made substitutions, McCarthy's changed the game for his team positively, Coyle's ruined our chances.
Right so last week he was criticized for being too attacking, this week he is being attacked for being too defensive?
last week he took of muamba for eagles, when he should have taken of n'gog for eagles wich he should have done again this week, eagles can score goals n'gog cant.
Spot on Moses. Last match was against Newcastle so a draw would have been a good result. Today was against Wolves, a must win game and a game that Coyle (yet again) marked as the most important game of the season and he makes the wrong call again. The man is clueless.

Is it not any of the players fault?
We were not creating anything with Klasnic on the pitch, so we brought on a creative midfielder. That was the right decision IMO, it didn't pay off but I don't think either substitution would have made the difference ...
Ngog was brilliant, he carried the ball well and was moving the team around well which cannot be said for Klasnic who was a ghost the entire game.
Ngog brings a touch of class to the team.
No complaints about Klasnic going off. I'd have swapped him for Davies slightly earlier... but to suggest leaving him on because "he is our leading scorer" makes little sense. His impact on this particular game was minimal...
People who describe Coyle as "clueless" should maybe reflect on why Coyle wasn't "clueless" this time last year? Was our position then just down to chance?
I think we will struggle to avoid relegation but sacking Coyle is not the way forward.
moses --tuncay creative,? 1-1 and he takes our leading goal scorer off when we need a win n'gog yes klasnic never
Coyle made the wrong call he should have thrown caution to the wind and gambled and gone for the win they nearly beat us late on anyway a point at home to Wolves is awful it leaves us 4 points adrift of safety, We have 4 unwinable games in January and to add to that we are losing our best defender in a few days
Coyle pick up your P45 now fella and do us all a favour if we cannot beat Wolves at home we stand no chance against Everton, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal out only possible win this month is Macclesfield and with Coyle in charge i do not hold out much hope here either.
n'gog a touch of class, a good swap player for k.davies then another centre foreward who cant score goals

-----------------------------------
He threw caution to the wind against Newcastle when it was 0-0 and got slated for it.
He brought on Tuncay for an ineffective Klasnic and to make it more like a 4-5-1 and he gets slated for it?
Klasnic was the worst player on the pitch today, he did nothing, offered nothing. Ngog created a great chance for him 1 on 1 with Henessey and he screwed it up...his performance was downhill from their.
Against Stoke Eagles and Klansic got 2 each.
One didn't come on and the other went off.
I'm frankly bored of the excuses for Coyle on here now..
Though Moses is making me laugh with his desperate ones..

Mallorca, would you care to join the debate rather than just making smart alec comments .....
My issue is with the players, i personally dont think the balance is right..we have a january to sort that out. Coyle thought Holden would be back in September which is why we didnt sign a replacement.
Difference is against Newcastle we should have shut up shop and gone for the draw today Wolves were ours for the taking and Coyle got it all wrong he has no tatics and for me no clue on how to use the players he has.
We are relegated with him in charge as far as i am concerned now nevermind bottom at Xmas we are still down now we cannot win any of the games we have in January and already are adrift of safety by 4 points.
Coyle should do the right thing and resign 2011 has been a disaster from start to finish and i cannot see how he is capable of altering this trend now.
No debate Moses.
I don't think you know what you're on about.
Sorry to be blunt, but you'd sell your soul on here to defend the man.. At least other posters have the good sense to not join in every article, because people are struggling to back him..
But I can guarantee you will play devils advocate with everyone!
It amuses me. It's not smart alec, it's observation.

So I am not entitled to my opinion? I support our manager, thats my position.
If I was Coyle I would have taken Petrov off for Eagles, but would it have affected the game as much as some are saying with others? IMO no.

-------------------------------------
If it wasnt for Henessey we would have got the win.
Its hypocrtical to criticise for being too attacking in one game and not enough in another when we were drawing in both instances when it happened.
The hypocrisy on here is unbelievable.
That is all - from a very happy Wanderer.
Happy New Year to you all. xx
Sorry HH i aint got the patience to waste my time talking to people who cannot see the woods for the trees i think you CEF and Moses should form your own Owen Coyle hero worship club as your the only fans left who actually want this man in charge of our club.
Sorry if you find this rude but as i said i have no patience to talk with posters like this anymore.
Whi is it that one week Eagles is useless and should be nowhere near the pitch and the next he is gods gift and should play at every available opportunity.
We should have been 3-4 up in the first half but Klasnic wasted a couple of excellent chances one created beautifully by N'Gog however N'Gog should come off and not the player who has been wasteful and not really contributed to the team?
Then when we are drawing a Game Coyle goes for the win and gets slated so the next week when we are drawing the game he is more cautious he again gets slated? you can not have it both ways. Also don't claim it has anything to do with the teams against Newcastle we had been the better team for the half and Newcastle were just starting to get into the game and we needed to change things up to get back on the front foot. Today Wolves were the better team for most of the second half and we were under a lot of pressure.
We should have had the game buried in the first half we created at least 4 great goal scoring opportunities and we wasted all but one of them, that is not Coyle's fault but the players.
