The Saunders interview on the bbc sport website says pretty much what you say DBA but he also says that he has no control over the comings and goings.
No idea hound, just "some of the Barnsley fans" according to the facebook status.
Saunders says that he wants Billy to stay but clubs are circling round like vultures. He mentions the contract clause that allows Billy to talk to clubs whose offers exceed a certain sum. one offer has been received so far (assume this is Leicester) that did not meet this valuation. Asked by the BBC whether Rovers may be able to do something to match a PL club's wages offer, Saunders just said that they would have to ask the chairman.
Re Stocky, Saunders didn't answer the question directly - just said that no offers had been received for any players yet - he had just had some phone calls re players that are not playing at the moment.
I never heard any chants, It sounds like a group of about 5 or so, but they were disgraced by there own fans!! but its gone mental on facebook with loads of other fans jumping on the bandwagon!! just wished it will all blow over and let it all rest! But i have to say our very own rovers team played outstanding today and with only one outfield player from our new fandangled loan system. stocky said in his man off the match speech after the game they felt it was a good time to get together, and expressed how they all knew how to play with each other.......... which tells a story!!!
I was near the Barnsley fans and never heard the chants about Billy. It may have been a few sickos but certaintly doesn't represent 99% of the decent Barnsley supporters.
Heard a few mentioning this at game, and enough different people to make you think it may sadly be true . But cant comment as i didnt hear myself and very much doubt the masses on Facebook actually heard it. All I'll say is that, if a few people did such a sick despicable thing, they are not fans of football, DRFC or Barnsley and are nothing more than a disgrace to mankind.
