Just seen the goals on ssn,PC looked like he got out muscled and out paced by Lee Hughes! Shocking header back from midfield though.

jacko..
notts county are sh-te.. no one was on top..both were lucky going in at half time to get nil..it was absoulute sh-t.. i said it was a pub game, it was a poor pub game..
we could and should have had at least 4 goals.. 2 was about right for them..
we played without central midfielders, again.. robinson did less than gobern going forward and defending, which wasnt easy as oscar did f-ck all...
alan lee missed from a yard at 2-0 and they would have been dead and buried.. hughes was marginally offside for the equaliser but the lino gave us nothing all game..he should still not have been able to score.. we should still have won it at the death with arfields easy chance..
martin allen is a c-nt, you know it and i know it and he talks like one after matches.. so does lee clark, they are both a right pair of c-nts, but allen is cheaper...

simple...

if you cant defend very well outside your own box then its positively f-cking suicidal trying to do it week in week out inside your own box..

i rest my case, lee clark is a c-nt and has installed another clark in the back 4 who is a slow witted c-nt..

6 points out of 18 .. If. We keep up to that points total for our next 6 games and Carlisle and stevanage keep picking points up at the rate they are we will be out of the top six and well out of contention for auto both sheffield clubs and mk will be out of sight and we'll be foooked..... how that for stats mirf? In Lee Clark I dont trust.

The fact that Tom Clarke and Danny Cadamateri both started today shows how much we have improved in Clarks tenure in charge - not at all. Once again, only Jordan Rhodes turned up today, the defence and midfield were non existent while the bench didn't have anyone on it who could alter a game. Plan B - where is it?

The ref took some unfair stick today, he had a decent game, Alan Lee went down too easily too often, Oscar handballed it when people kicked off about that, it was a stonewall penalty and Rhodes dived to try win a free kick towards the end. Nobody is to blame today apart from Lee Clark and his band of not so merry (they don't even look to enjoy matches anymore) men.

Okay, so the game is slipping away from you and you need something to happen. Lee Clark, the manager, just sits in his dugout and does nothing, not even trying to get messages out to the team. It's okay though, because the captain is Peter Clarke and he keeps clapping his hands together, that will make everything better.

Not good enough in the slightest. Even the most loyal of Clarks fans are starting to see sense now. He's taken us as far as he can. The defence is still appalling after 3 years, Cadamateri and Tom Clarke had to be called back in today, the good football has stopped, the players don't respond to him anymore, the players don't even respect him anymore if recent rumours are to be believed. Get him out.

Oh, and he's refused to speak to Radio Leeds again tonight because he'll take some well deserved stick. Class act that bloke.

Stevenage lost today...and Sheff Utd too at carlisle...so that's good isn't it...
I said a few weeks back we had a run of 7 'winnable' games coming up, and so far we've W1 D2 L0 out of the 3 played..so now we have Wycombe, Oldham, Brentford and Tranmere, before MKDons come to town. We SHOULD win 3 of these, we need to win some games because if this goes on much longer we'll get to end of Feb and we'll be out of the race for autos, and be looking over our shoulders at carlisle, Stevenage etc...

How did Tom Clarke play today, and what about Alan Lee , why was Novak left out ?

Anybody keeping a tally of the number of team changes this season so far ?

The problem is that Dean hoyle wants to get his hand in his pocket and give Clark i bit of cash so he can compeat with the likes of mk and stevanage.

The biggest indictment of LC is the fact he bought in a bunch of midfielders so we could 'play' some football, spent a fortune on Ward and has tried every combination since, none of which work.

The players are better than they are performing, but they are played in continually changing roles week in week out, with team changes made every week so no one ever gets a decent run..fact is LC has no more a clue as what his strongest 11 are than he had 3 years ago...he's befuddled, bemused and mentally bankrupt. Hoyle needs to get a grip and recognise that LC has peaked, and will/can not get any better.

At the end of the day, it's Hoyles' money, so if he is happy to keep p1$$ing it up against a wall, then so be it.

This is not a reaction to recent events, I, and many others, have recognised this for near on 2 years, but have been continually slagged off by the pro LC lobby as not true Town fans...and we should perhaps f off and watch L*****.

maybe now some of these guys would like to hold their hands up and say sorry?

What a load of absolute boollocks....
Jordan Rhodes was the only Town player that showed any composure at all, everyone else was shocking & scared...why?
Although Cads was alright, he tried his hardest all game but was still ineffective.....
Tom Clarke needs to go and play for Bradford or someone else at that level cos he is absolute poo..
PC struggled against lee Hughes all game, which contrasts massively to the previous 3 games I've seen them 2 against each other, I honestly think he's past his best. Shame really cos he is a true hero on the pitch, he even got knocked out again today with a clash of heads, and also headed the post which flattened him a for a minute...Or is he just past it, and he needs to take a nap in each half..

Tez. Sorry about today, but at least you got there..

I went to bed at half time, disappointed.
& have woken up early & seen the result, I'm ....disappointed.

especially after realising we were 2-0 with 20 minutes to play,
Why wasn't Novak brought on straight after Rhodes scored our 2nd ?
our 2nd top scorer, fresh legs, Their defense would have been frazzled at that point, remember they capitulated themselves a couple of days ago at Boundary Park !

anyway.

It's done now. With out even being there It's the same old patterns repeating themselves...relinquishing the lead against mid table teams, Eye witness reports that the players are not comfortable, selection changes Galore, Another refusal to give a post match interview.........Mirf. your stats, as correct as they are don't mean a thing anymore, As a team, TOWN are going backwards, We might have more points than at this point last season.......But so too do the 4 teams above us,
How about this for a 'stat' Mirf...(I'm not having a go at you mate, But this is, I feel relevant, & I believe as yet not mentioned.)

Since we beat Notts County at the 'Pharm in Nov. The only victory has been against...way out at the bottom of the league Chesterfield, who have a 1-1-9 defeats record away from home..
We 'smashed' 'em.....(que tongue in cheek ) 1-0 !
in that time Bournemouth beat us at Home,
& we draw with Carlisle.

The other managers in this league have sussed Clark out.
Nothing less than 4 straight wins against Wycombe, Oldham, Brentford & Tranmere (I think) will be a realisation that either the team, or management structure is nowhere near good enough to win promotion.

We need another month like October, (6 games, 5 wins 1 draw)
Will we get that in Jan or Feb ! I don't think we will, & If we don't, getting into an AutoPro spot will be gone.

I applaud 'Barca' too... He has said what I also believe to be true,
For all his money, We have a wet blanket Chairman.
Nothing is happening darn at the Pharm...NOTHING.
The players are 'sulking'
The Manager 'sulks'
The fans are silent....& not just because of what is happening on the pitch.
We see vibrant displays at grounds all over the country, every week. But not at the 'Stazi' controlled Galpharm !
The club is going backwards off the pitch too...........
He's the Chairman.. SORT IT.

I was suprised to learn this when doing the match thread.
The 'away' section at Meadow Lane was moved from the Kop behind the goal ..."At the request of the home fans" ( So it CAN be done) & are now situated in the Jimmy Sirrel stand darn the touchline side, The usual allocation is 1,300,but this can be varied according to the away following..........Obviously there have been no 'Health & Saftey issues' ,mass deaths or inconveniences, due to this action being taken ? TOWN fans, were there any problems yesterday.......NO.
Hoyle,
Clibbins,
Jarvis
& last but not least 'SS' robinson......

Get off your 'harrises' & do some WORK.

It's also in one mans hands as to how long the current manager is employed,
How long it will be before we have 'our' club back re the shares issue.
& or if we will ever 'own' the 'Pharm or our own ground....
We just seem to be 'bumping along' regardless of his millions.
Is that good enough,
You tell me.

Ah Sorry Jacko ,
inspiration from our mate 'Loui' ....
any chance of a lift to Argentina for the Dakar lou'
I'll be ready in 5 minutes......

Almost 9 thou yesterday, visiting TOWN fans take a bow,
your attendance pushed the gate way above Notts usual average,

Good word that Wether..

FRUSTRATING.

I wanted to be more upbeat, 'It's only football' & 'That's the way it goes sometimes'...add a few 's
(& I would have had, had I been there)
But other teams play us, Then seem to improve or at very least hold their own when we meet for the return fixture, This tells me Clark (unfortunately) hasn't got what it is going to take to get us out of this league.

I'm trying to be level headed, & compare Poyet & Adkins today, 3-0 in Poyets favour, But we all know that Adkins will bounce back....& that aside, Look where he's taken Saints in a very short time, (& Scunny) while Clark has been at TOWN...

2 words darn.. Paul Lambert. Bryan Gunn got sacked after 1 game in 2009/10 . It was a 7-1defeat but they knew he wasn't right, poached the manager who had inflictf that defeat. Now look at em, mid table in the Premier league with 25 points., look at us.

Crisis ? What crisis ?
Pld 46 W 11 D 33 L2,...that's our destiny, 66 points, safely tucked into 9th place.
LC goes, Rhodes goes, Roberts goes, Hunt asks for T/f, Kay leaves, mcCombe leaves, Naysmith leaves, Johnson leaves, Lee leaves, Cads leaves........

Season 2012/13

A new 'era'. New manager, signs 8 players on frees, 5 loanees...Hoyle..'we need to step back and start again, errors were made but we all need to pull together now.'

Xmas 2012.Town 22nd, 14 points . manager resigns, Hoyle looks for a buyer for the club, says his heart isn't in it anymore and it's damaging his health.

Ken davy steps in.......

Amen.

"Kin 'ell JACKO.....Wake up,"

What a nightmare

3 indicators that we can use to see if Clark has it or not,
But will be expose him Like a Bunny in the headlights if these following results go against us.

All in Feb as it happens, On the 4th, MK come to Town. A score draw at their place. (2-2) Which management team will improve over the other in this one. !

10 days later, The Blades will want to make amends for the 3-0 defeat at Bramhall lane, But being the home side, We should be more than capable of taking 3 points......But will we ? if fact Sheff United have in effect swopped places with us in the league since then.

Then 4 days after that.....another show 'darn' Literally ?
Our leader locks horns with Westley !
That should be fun. We beat them at 'our' place....
Will Westley be another manager who gets the better of Clark in the return fixture ?

Again, anything other than wins, will indicate a backward step for us. lots of expectation on our man at the helm now.....

& if that wasn't enough..........( I know you want more...the Steak knives are coming ...)
we have to visit a fast improving Leyton Orient in among all that lot, They are capable of a win against anyone in this league at the moment....

Dropping out of the playoff positions is a very real possibility unless we improve, & improve a lot .

Are we getting to the stage where we need to win, & still hope, & require the teams above us to slip up here & there.
I think we are,
I'd stand up & cheer 'em on....
But that's politically incorrect now as well, & frowned upon BIG time at 'Hoyle's Town'....We need a wand.
& NOW.
not in a month or two....by which time it will be too late.

Oh & another comparison with 12 months ago..
I have it darn here as,
Sat 7th Jan. Wycombe Wanderers v TOWN (or FA Cup 3rd round)...............
Yeah, we were in that too last year.
ARSENHOLES away....
Yeah !
We're going backwards.
