Yup. Evens (1/1) - you get back your stake + same amount. The whole idea of odds is what you get back of your stake - so 3/1 = 3X + your stake.
Fractional odds (2/3) should really be expressed as 2/3rds of 1 offered as a return (+ your stake back of course).
