Anti

Great comment that and sums it up perfectly.

Also you stated 'You cannot argue that if we still had Delph, Beckford and Gradel then excluding the defence, we would be one class team.'

Very true and if you don't weaken in an area in which you are strong you can focus solely on your weakness i.e. the defence. Plus it's much easier to attract quality defenders to your club if you've got many talented individuals in your team obviously down to the potential to improve.

You talk as if Macca ignored Snoddy like Grayson ignored White.

Why say to be fair and then be completely unfair?

Macca brought Snoddy to the club because he knew what a talent he was.

He signed as a 21 year old from the Scottish 1st division.

Macca used him right, that's why he was player of the year for us.

Grayson would have sent him out on loan, or completely ignored, him rather than rest him for the odd game.

Can you imagine what would have happened had Grayson taken straight over from Wise?

New ploy GO! ? Repetition yourself to make your point... oh sorry you've been doing that for ages.

How would anybody on here like to work with no support from your boss? Grayson has done miracles on no cash and players he did not want but got because Bates would not get his targets.

Back Grayson Sack Bates

If after 3 years I was still getting no support from my boss I would leave.

Nobody forces Grayson to stay at Leeds under such intolerable conditions....it is his choice and therefore more fool him.

Where is the proof that grayson isnt getting back.

Not how grayson says it is

robbyman, are you saying then that Grayson is lying when he says he has the full backing of his chairman?

posted on 16/1/12

Grayson has to say that,he cant say the chairman isnt backing him. Also do you think grayson has a family to support?a morgage to pay,he cant just quit, maybe he thinks better the devil you know,he can try his best for the club on the budject he has. Rather than quiting and have another manager take over the club he supports who might not have the best intrest at heart for leeds and will just work with bates and his bullsh-it

Weve been dross for 2 years, 2 years of not joing your job properly ........... Warnock in!!

Look at our defence, players he signed, football we play, its all garbage, no atmosphere, no life no ceativity

Yet you muppetss still back him? what planet are you on

I think the defence of thompson lees odea white is the best we have had this season. With a right back like adam smith or lichaj then a cb we would be sorted, a cm like delph and maybe one more striker to go with rogers and we have a very capable team of challenging for promotion. Thing is i hope we get some perm signings and not just loans but grayson deserves more time,im not saying give him another 3 years but he has got us this far, changing managers now is daft. Who knows what the window could bring in the remaining two weeks lets see...

he cant just quit,
-------
Why can't he? Other managers have. Are you privy to his mortgage details then?

If Grayson is as good as you make out he will have no job finding another job in football management.

If you feel the right thing to do is to lie in public to support your boss then you have a very wonky moral compass.

No he doesnt have to say anything.

Would you lie in public ????

I am 1 of Larry's biggest fans, but I wiil respect him more by walking. He would then be snapped up by another manager in this league & will get them into the Prem in 2 years IMO

Its also his dream job.
I don't think it makes him a fool for trying everything he can to stay in that job.

Its like Eddie Gray. He bleeds Leeds United and would do anything to just have something to do with the club even if it means being on Bates radio.

After the QPR game
Question: Is there money available to bring in players
Grayson: Yeah, I'm sure there is, there's not gonna be sort of huge amounts because i think moneys difficult in football at this moment in time. Suppose if you've got the luxury of having backers like QPR have got then they go out and spend their money, but we'll work within whatever budget i'm given from the chairman, got good relationship and we'll work hard to improve on this year.

Good job we kept our best players like Gradel.

Sorry LIW but you're wrong there
-----------------------------------------------------

There a big difference doing what your boss says even though you dont believe in it, too saying things in public which are not true and actually look bad on the job your trying to do.

The other thing to remember is that if Grayson was to say i'm not getting backed by the Chairman

If Grayson really cared about Leeds as much as people seem to think, he'd admit he wasn't up to the job and resign.

Simon Grayson cares about Simon Grayson.

And, yes, Grayson does have a family to support: the one he walked out on.

I don't think Grayson well ever get another job above League 1 level, that's why he's so desperate to keep this job. I think he name is mud because of the way he treats players.

And why do so many people keep saying Grayson hasn't been backed?

Bates allowed him to bring Darren O'Dea in when he could have turned around and told him he was useless and he already two centre halves worth half a million.

Bates has backed him far too much!

And what has spending money in the transfer market got to do with getting your tactics and team selections right?

I keep bringing that up and people keep ignoring it, I'd love for some of you to stop ducking that issue.

Exactly LIW.He does not have to say anything,it's simple.Say no comment,I can't say at this particular time,or pass. And no boss can order or direct you to tell lies,or mislead people diliberately. They usually tell you to say nothing,as regards to the business. The truth is Grayson, must have had backing,he says so himself. It's people wanting to put the entire blame on Bates, and keep Grayson looking like he's the great manager we all would have liked him to have been. But I judge him on the football his teams have been dishing up over the last two seasons, and to be honest it is nowhere near good enough.
