Battleship was awful..
but I also liked it
giant special effects and lots of explosions - why is plot relevant
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Me and the Mrs went to a couple friends house, after we ate the fella, a Polish bloke suggested we watched a film on the laptop (not really what I'd do with guests round but hey) he will only watch action films ands trying t sell it to me stood there with the laptop open towards me and basically scanned through the entire film in his meerkat voice going "they kidnap the man" forward"army go in" forward "they drop big bomb" forward "they all have big fight" forward "nice explosions and more fight" forward "they win war and get hostage back, the end. You want to watch?
He also told me with great excitement once you get paid at the cinema and passed the ticket area you can watch as many films as you like so he spends all day in there going form film to film. I asked him how he knows which screen to go to "I listen for bombs" he said, literally didn't give a hoot if it was half way through, just listened out for explosions watched it form he rest of the war bits then moved on to the next one.
Monuments men....anyone..?
On sky premiere tonight
