Yeah that one. I take it you have?
Kamran will pretend he has to seem like a neat guy
Of course I have Saint.
Choice, quit touching me.
Great movie eh? My favourite De Niro movie actually.
Ghosts are visiting you now Kamran
Yeah Saint, it's a top, top film
just ordered Missisippi Burning
heard really good things about it
if you open the oven while its hot, that heat that escapes is heat ghosts watching Kamran
Firstly wtf has happened to this place in the evenings? It's a morgue around here these days.
Also, fück films, I'm all documentary from now on. Anyone have any they recommend? Watched Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room last night and I've downloaded Man on Wire for tonight but I'm hungry for more. What happened with Enron is beyond mind-boggling, absolute must-see.
Haven't watched a film in over two weeks. Been busy with loads of assignments.
Might watching something tonight.
Swot.
What are you studying?
I am indeed click.
Studying Public Services atm.
God even the film thread can't rouse the awol's from their slumber. Soon there'll be no articles but Sagna asking people for games on the ps3. It's all Dubbed's fault.
Public Services, so what career would that lead to? Public Servant sounds a bit vague.
Werner Herzog's "Grizzly Man" is a great documentary, AHB. First time I saw it I felt great empathy for the central subject, Timothy Treadwell. Second time I watched it, I felt completely differently about him.
It's a bit of a 'make-you-think'-er that one.
Herzog's more recent "Into The Abyss" and "Cave Of Forgotten Dreams" are meant to be amazing too, though I've yet to see either of them yet.
If none of those grab you, try Morgan Spurlock's "Supersize Me" or Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine"
And failing that... music documentaries.
Anyhoo... off to watch the latest episode of The Walking Dead.
Season 2 has really picked up on what I thought was a slightly underwhelming first season.
Worth a watch.
I wanted to try the fire service, AHB, not sure yet though. I wanna get a temporary job before I start a proper career.
I hate talking about studying and working, it stresses me out
Just downloaded The Way Back. I've heard good things about it. Gonna watch it in a bit.
Walking Dead is good Lex. Although it can be a bit repetitive and obvious (I can't think of the word for knowing what's going to happen) it's still a very good series.
Also, I don't know what the Hype about Game of Thrones is. I watched it all and it's not great. So easy to know what's going to happen next and a bit boring. 'Winter is coming' Alright then come already!
Lex! My man.
I saw Grizzly Man years back in college but it was a hazy viewing so I've always meant to rewatch it in sobriety. I'm near certain our universal judgment at the time was that he had it coming but then again, we were drunk. Into the abyss was solid, Herzog delicately putting forward the case for the abolishment of capital punishment. Missed Cave of Forgotten Dreams when it was on in 3D in the cinema. Can't seem to bring myself to watch it in 2D.
Seen the others, dislike Moore immensely though. That fat has just profiteered from the one thing he purports to stand against.
Kam, sorry, I can see why that'd be the last thing you'd wanna discuss. Recommended SuperTroopers a while back, if you haven't seen it you should. On a par with Superbad and possibly slightly better. You will laugh your ass off.
no worries, AHB.
Just watched SuperTroopers' trailer, and it looks very similar to Superbad. I've started downloading it
