probably because none of the special effects worked and they had to fall back on plot and dialogue

Suspense is so much better than special effects. Jaws was good but there's just something about his films in general that irks me.

That scene where Jane turns her face for the first time gives me goosebumps every time.

The Marx Bros? Wow Raptor, your taste is more refined than most of us on this thread. Like eating caviar at Burger King.

I watched the new Mel Gibson film the other day,Called Get the Gringo, was brilliant,Gibson back to his best.
It is very bizarre what we'll forgive complete freaks like Cruise and Gibson just because their films are entertaining.
it's OK to be psychotic as long as you get the cinematography and editing right
currently on a james bond marathon; watched from russia with love last night-very under-rated film imo

living daylights was quality. agree dalton was a very under-rated Bond. i'd argue Brosnan was the most over-rated, although he was good in world is not enough
moonraker was probably the most cringeworthy of the lot though. jaws could have been a really great villain ye he's reduced to Mr Bean esque cameos

was that the girl who was genuinely about half his size
i'm onto thunderball tonight best i've seen thus far was from russia with love. Red Grant
it's the roger moore ones i'm dreading the most
Favourite Bond?
I'd have to go with Roger Moore, he was classy. Although Sean Connery runs it close.
The Dark Knight Rises comes out in just under a month
The spy who loved me....... the daddy of all the bond films.
One flew over the cuckoos nest
Jack Nicholson
Nurse Ratched
