"Tottenham > tax"

I dare say that will prove to be the case Chronic. Just goes to prove that as long as our clubs are successful, we're all prepared to turn a blind eye to a multitude of indiscretions.
Not just Spurs' supporters, but all of us.

Think we would have seen a different Arsenal response if twas say Graham 1992 or Wenger 2001. TBH the past actions relate to the day job, and brings into question the motivation of players requested for signing on Arry day 1. All of which would be untenable in most businesses.
lex. i actually view the club as more than just a football team, which is why i never wanted OS regardless of whether it was actually good for the team... its about the club.
if harry is guilty and levy decided to sack him, then he wont have any objection for me.
"have to stand by him , everyone is on the fiddle its just Harry got caught"
Oh well that's ok then, lets let all tax dodgers off.
Seriously dolt, is that your defence, everyone does it, I'll bet Harry is kicking himself now," why did I choose Sue, Grabbit, and Runne as my defence team, when I could have had wearethefamous in my corner
You truely are the biggest idiot on 606, and as you can imagine, you're up against some pretty stiff opposition.
What's the Premier League's stance on the matter?
Regardless of the club, it's reputation, it's view on tax evasion, etc, doesn't the PL have the final say?
"and as you can imagine, you're up against some pretty stiff opposition."
Think his biggest opponent here is Blackadder cut n pasters.

Certainly would've been interesting to see what would've happened had it all kicked off earlier in GG's reign, rather than as things started tailing off.

Because their manager being found guilty of tax evasion in a court of law wouldn't relect well on Tottenham Hotspur FC perhaps?
=============================
Who would genuinely care? the fans? No. Potential transfers? Cant see why?
The GG stuff is pretty wide of the mark imo.
The parallel with Arsenal's treatment of GG at Spurs was Terry Venables - both GG and El Tel didn't have a leg to stand on as it was proved they materially gained from interfering in the transfer business at their CURRENT clubs.
The charge against HR isn't related to taking a bung nor does it concern his conduct at his current employer.
I'll not bother with a response to the Luis Suarez comparison above.

Sorry Chick, we've already covered that one now.
Anyway, ifs and buts.
Wonder (if Levy has a plan B + FA ) whether the England job will be a possible clean up for the club.

And never said that was harrys defence, i said i would not want him sacked

Damn my work load.
The IR are suggesting the monies are bung money.
And that he would have got away with it if he paid tax on it (go figure) .
I dont even understand why it's a criminal offence. It;s not like he would have stolen any money. Just that he wouldnt have paid his bill for being in the country. With any other bills, thecourt enforces payment plus a bit of interest. Why is it that with tax, you get payment of the bill enforced, plus a pecuniary charge of about double the bill, plus the risk of a prison sentence ?
Tax man robs everyone and harry just wanted to put a bit of money away for retirement.. whats the problem
Bit like insider trading, there all at it ,but the sky falls in if you get caught.
Prob find fenton in the dock after Harry for fiddling his benefits
