I'll support Rangers forevermore in whatever form they are in, our current problems may get rid of some of the Johnny come lately's who suddenly started supporting the team in the late 80's.
Seems to me Airdrie fans still support Airdrie despite what happened to them
The thing is. If Rangers died this "whatever form they are in" is irrelevant.
If Rangers die, there is no Rangers.
The question should be, if Rangers went to the wall. Who would you support then? A newly formed team with a name similar to the old Glasgow Rangers FC?
Bluetoon - There are no Airdrie fans anymore.
There are only Airdrie United fans. Airdie died.
But my point is they wouldn't be the same rangers or celtic that you support at the minute
pie you stole my thunder 16 secs earlier
Once a ranger, always a ranger
No surrender
So Elite you would be supporting a non existant team that used to be a great name in scottish football
I'm sure the guys who supported Airdrieonians are still guys who support Airdrie Utd. To all intents and purposes they are the same club, play in the same town, play in the same colours. A name change didn't kill off the affinity those supporters had for a team who plays under the name Airdrie.
There will always be a rangers

And you know this how ??? do you support them
Airdrie United are/were Clydebank
I'd still support them no matter what. If Rangers/Celtic were to go out of business and reformed as a new co ala AFC Wimbledon, most fans would still stay. Most likely they would also still be known as Rangers/Celtic no matter what the actual name of the new club would be, and to all intents and purposes would likely still be at Ibrox/Parkhead.
If, and it'll never happen, but if Rangers went newco, they would no longer be Rangers.
Third Lanark. There is currently a new Third Lanark in the amateurs. But they cannot hold any of the old honours.
The same would apply to Rangers. The fans would, of course, get misty-eyed thinking about the past. But it would not be their present club's past.
TCD, that is right enough so it makes you wonder who Clydebank supporters now support?
Wanyama, don't be so stupid of course I don't support Airdrie but having originally come from Lanarkshire I know people who do. It is not as if 500 to a 1000 people in airdrie just decided to start supporting Airdrie having never supported them before or had actually supported another team.
I'd join The Green Brigade I think. Looks like some laugh
Wimbledon>>>>>>MK Dons...it didn't happen with the fanbase

Celtic will offer you a 99 year tenancy
Aye TCD I know that. It was the diehard fans that still continue to follow AFC Wimbledon, which would be the case of all decent Celtic/Rangers fans.
