I think one day he'll be there, but for long periods he seems to be hit and miss. Now he's becoming more hit than miss, but I still wouldn't trust him on a week to week basis like someone like Valencia yet.

Well they can both play as wingers and I'd prefer to have them than Bale there.

Otherwise I'd rather Robben, Iniesta, Nani, Ribery, Valencia, Silva, Di Maria, Sanchez, Hazard, Pedro and possibly Krasic (although I've not really seen enough of him to say for certain).

I know you'll argue that some of these aren't out and out wingers, but if I had to pick for a squad these players would come above Bale for me. I'm not saying Bale isn't class, he just needs to add more consistency to his game IMO.

He's starting to do this now, but I think it's too early to put him up with these yet, probably best of the rest.
