Plus hardly any of them are wingers. You've just randomly picked quality names you've heard of from abroad.
KFC wings are better then Bale.
You did exactly what I said.
I'd rather have any of them on the wing than Bale, just my opinion.
Aside from Krasic and possibly Hazard, I've seen enough of those players to know they're better than Bale is.
Debating with Spurs fans is like arguing with a slightly more obnoxious Jeremy Clarkson.

Says the poster who would play any random player he has never seen on the wing instead of a player who has won player of the year & made the world team of teh year (or whatever it was).
TBAG = well jel.
Well yeah, I'd love to have Bale at Arsenal, obviously. I do however think his player of the year wasn't really deserved and he got it for having an unbelievable couple of months and nothing else.
As for the UEFA team of the year, that was because he was fantastic in the Champions League (proving he can be one of the best in the world), whereas other wingers were far better on week in, week out.
I don't get how you can't understand that I really rate Bale, but think it's too early to class him as world class.
I'm probably being WUM'd, no other explanation for someone so stupid being so hard headed.
TBAG,

I didnt say he was world class, i just suggested he was in the best 5 in the world, let-alone the Prem.
Your opinions let you down when you put non-wingers, in a list of better wingers.
Why would you put in that top 5 list Chicken? Surely a measure of a players ability is playing against the better teams.
Does it really matter what their preferred position is when they're better on the wing than Bale is?
For example Steven Gerrard playing on the right of midfield for Liverpool, he's much better there than say Pennant, but because he's not primarily a right winger, my opinion isn't valid and Pennant is better?
TBAG,
Does it really matter what their preferred position

When you're comiling a list of wingers, yes.
Do you even know the difference between a winger & a RM or LM?
Of course I do, but my point is just because Iniesta isn't an out and out winger, I'd rather put him in that position than Bale because I feel he'd do a better job.
It's not really hard to grasp.
TBAG
But if he's not a winger then how can he be put in a list of “better wingers”. I might think Andy Carroll would be better in goal than Szczesny, but it would be daft to put him in a list of goalkeepers better than Szczesny wouldnt it?
A winger doesn’t just need to be able to play in midfield, they generally need pace for starters, the ability to cross, dribble & trickery to beat players.
To be honest, your grasp of football knowledge does seem to be a tad low for a decent debate on this, so we’ll leave it there.
'To be honest, your grasp of football knowledge does seem to be a tad low for a decent debate on this, so we’ll leave it there.'
I was planning on ending on a similar note.
I get where you're coming from, but if Carroll is better in goal than Szczesny then he's a better keeper, regardless of whether or not he gets played upfront because he's the best upfront.
I'm just trying to say each position isn't mutually exclusive, I play at a half decent standard on Saturdays in CM. I then play pub football on Sundays and I'll often play as a full back, and just because I'd better in the middle, doesn't mean I'm not better than all the other dross full backs in the league. It's possible to be better in all positions is all I'm saying.
Anyway this has wondered into a pretty silly grey area that doesn't even have much to do with football.

I don't get what's about that?
I don't care about the team, I'm hungover as sin and just do a favour for mates.
The ..was for you putting your tin pot Sunday league in the same bracket as professional football.
I'm not comparing the two, I'm just trying to think of a relevant example without moving outside of football.
You might be best at English in school, and my best subject could be Maths, but that wouldn't stop me still being better than you at English too.

But if you've never seen me study English, how could anyone say i am better at English than you? Because that is basically what you are saying. You listed player who you reckon are better wingers than Bale, when neither you, or anyone else, has ever seen them play there. So how can they appear in a list of "better wingers"?
Its like saying Messi isnt the best in the world because Bruce Forsyth could be better, so lets put him & Terry Wogan as the best 2, maybe throw in Graham Norton as well, as he once played for the school?
Is just the most ridiculous comparisons ever.
I know what you mean.
I think I've seen the majority play as wingers, but I can't even remember my exact list now
