Meireles, Bosingwa and Luiz all made the starting lineup last night and all of them (again!!!) failed to deliver.
Yet, I'm sure they'll make the starting lineup against Bolton this w/e, and there's a huge probability they will fail to deliver again, resulting us losing another game. But what the heck, they will still be in the first team in the upcoming game.
So, who's fault is this nonsense?
We have only won 4 out of the last 14. What kind of crisis is that? Even pub league teams are doing better than that.
Bull
Thats because majority are against avb and look to criticise him whenever possible
Luiz-Best defender so far in 2012 for us

Well he certainly proved everyone wrong last night
Mr C
The problem is, your idiot owner keeps sacking managers and coaches.
There is no continuity at the Bridge. This downward spiral is going to continue until there is some stability at the club.
Luiz is imo the most talented player in our team (that includes even Mata). However he needs to learn when to just put his foot through the ball, something he should have learned several years ago.

I dunno about the majority or minority but the pro-AVB are by far the loudest on this board. You see article after article criticising the players and making it seem like AVB is in an impossible job and he deserves credit for "facing up to the players in the dressing room".

It is equal. You also see comments and articles saying AVB is an idiot and is responsible for everything wrong at the club.
AVB is in an impossible job

Getting players to perform to their best, when they don't want to play for you seems pretty impossible to me

So every single player in the squad is against AVB?
No but seems like the most influential are though

How about dropping them and playing the players who want to play for them.
Oh and name the ones you believe are not playing for AVB. I am curious.
*play for you?
Sorry for the mistake.
When talking about 'transition' you have to accept it takes time, so fine I can accept that, but we haven't seen many positive changes yet.
Let's review what's new:
We play out of defence? Not new really, we did that when Carlo was here.
We play a high line? Short lived, didn't work out, maybe to be revisited with different players.
We play more attacking? Hmmm...if we are then we are doing a really poor job of creating actual scoring chances.
So what's different? - Our defence is dramatically worse. What part of the plan is this exactly? The only real difference I'm seeing in our play is that we can't keep that ball out of the net to save our lives. I will have a lot more patience with Avb when he admits this is a real problem.

So are you saying Essien, Mikel, Lampard and Cole are the players who do not want to play for AVB?
I'm sick of the clueless pundits/media/commentators who keep saying Lampard should have started against Napoli, samething against Valencia as well which I must add we won.
AVB was getting pelters, have they not watched Lampard this season or realised his age?
Just blindly supporting him because of his reputation and nationality, I don't suppose they say the samething about Ferguson leaving out Giggs and Scholes.Terrible.
It is absolutely ridiculous to berate AVB for not starting Lampard,he is rapidly declining and doesn't warrant a starting place.
Most fans on this board wanted Lampard to be phased out now all of a sudden want him back in the team purely for experience against Napoli make up your minds. Not for me. He must put in the performaces to warrant a place in the starting lineup, not get in by default because of the 'experience' he possesses

Exactly.
Can anyone on here (pro AVB bunch) explain what does the term TRANSITION mean? Is it like we are absolute pants, then one day we all wake up to learn from the media that apparently the Chelsea transition period is over and suddenly by sheer magic of "transition" we start winning all our games? LOL
The gradual way of transition might be parallel to a rehabilitation procedure.

Cmf don't you agree it was outrageous for Kalou not to start ahead of Sturridge

Mr Chelsea,
Spot on as ever mate
AVB? T M A C
There is no reason to be starting Lampard when he is rapidly declining and If he can't accept the fact that he is declining with age + accept a squad role then he needs to be shipped out A.S.A.P
