s, we will face higher rent and rates, yet we have frozen Season Ticket prices. The central distribution from the Football League will be over £600k

He don't mention that if teams that got relegated from prem last season go straight back up that their parachute payments go straight into the championship pot.

Bates must know who the owners of Elland road is
I cannot see any wrong in any of the quotes.
Marvellous man our Chairman.
Bates' comments re ER and TA mean nothing. He went to court and swore he didn't know who owned Leeds United and then, funnily enough, as investigations got closer and closer, Bates did a deal with the unknown quantity and bought the club for an undisclosed sum. If Bates owns ER & TA you can bet your bottom dollar that any deal was subject to a confindentialty clause protecting anonymity. He's on safe ground for any disclosure would end up in litigation which is Bates' favourite pastime after bashing Leeds' fans.
Krasner did little for Leeds United but the indebtedness handed over to Bates grew immeasurably before we went into administration.
When Bates is up against it he comes out fighting and attempts to push the spotlight on to others. Usual bluff and nonesense. I have to say the article here simply reaffirms my belief that the Bearded Wonder does own ER and TA and I suspect some behind the scenes movement regarding same are taking place right now.
I for one would welcome as much outside interest in our club as possible. It would make matters more transparent and if Bates is innocent and his protestations regarding finance are true he would at least get the faithful on side and unite the club. Of course, if the reverse is true, Bates would find himself in a corner and possibly be declared unfit for purpose.
Either way has to be good for the future of Leeds United.

If another 15 point sanction saw the end of the Bates' era then at least we can start again. At the moment we're being hammered by personal attacks, a pricing policy that is more expensive than 2/3 of the Premier League, every excuse under the sun for selling talent and not replacing it and every excuse for not attracting new investment plus the constant conflicting comments coming out of ER week in week out. Having been to both the home games against Blackpool and Birmingham plus the Coventry game away, I believe we are in an incredibly poor position with no sign of improvement. Warnock was a panic move imo.
No evidence he owns TA as never changed hands since Krasner sold. ER did but again it's only your view SD that of Bates that makes you believe he owns it.
Ken bates would have needed to get permission for all the upgrades on ER from the owner.
Plus would anyone spend 7m on something when they didn't have a clue who the owners are.
Youd have to be stupid as the people who believe ken bates spin
CasWhite: No evidence at all but then no evidence he owned Leeds United either. Who owns Teak Trading? Who says Teak Trading hasn't changed ownership? Can you say, hand on heart, that Bates is not behind this entity? You can't because no-one can. That can't be right when as others say, we are paying for ground improvements when, allegedly, we don't own it but do pay 7 figure sums annually to rent it. All to the detriment of the team....
LIW, why would you need the owners permission. This could have been included in the lease agreement. Unless you've seen this then sorry your wrong and if your increasing income and covering the costs then it makes sense. This would have been part of the business plan used to see if cost effective.
Although I don't believe and accept all Ken's spin as you put it I agree with some of his views and ways. I don't agree with many others though. What I don't do is accept what some people also SPIN on here.

Bates himself stated quite recently that it would cost £15 million to buy ER. How does he know that? And improvements that cost between £3.5 m and £7 m dependent on which source you believe would suggest that the cost of ER was a bargain. Which third party would allow the sale of an asset for less than the market worth? Nothing adds up.
But I'm not saying he doesn't own either only pointing out what is available information. It is others, like yourself, stating you feel he does own them. In one way I understand why people beleive this, but as an entity to sell or receive investment it would be better if they were under the ownership of LUFC so doesn't make sense not to declare ownership now.
SD, he knows how much it would cost to buy ER because it was part of the Krasner sale to have a set buy back clause. It's this lack of understanding when the information is out there that makes your arguement weaker.

So you think anyone in their right Mind would spend 7m on ER if they didn't have a clue who owned it.
Come on nobody would do that

Could it be he knows the price .... er ........ because he's interested in trying to buy it back and he's asked?
