Tell me about it, i find it absolutly ridiculas, being above Brazil, how on earth do FIFA work this out. Anyway never fear as after the Copa America and a couple of International friendlies order will be restored and England will take there rightfull place of 7th
thank god for that redblood thats still to high for the over rated over paid so and so's
and there i was thinking fifa hated us
I saw this on sky sports news this morning, couldnt believe it. On paper we are top 6-8 but in reality I think were not even in top 15. Cant hardly bear to watch us anymore, I really think we (city) play with more flair than england do.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now come on, I know that you are upset, but really?
Im deadly serious WR, I like to commentate to England games.... its my party trick.
Here I go, and its johnson to rio, rio across to terry, to cole, back to terry and rio, rio plays a quick 1-2 with johnson..... back to Hart......... HOOF!! My patriotism is dwindling....
What's it they say, " The table never lies"...C'mon England..
Just like Murray and Henman before him - we flatter to decieve until the business end, and then we meet someone good and they show us in a true light.
The truth will out, and isnt it embarrasing when it does.
We havent been a force in world football since Gazza finished - fact
Funny, as soon as England drop Calamity James, look what happens
Funny, dropping down into tier 4,the "gasheads" have.
Now that is a laugh..
When was the last time the Sags had a 54 cap England player in their team?
Does anybody s internet go back that far?
Banksy I think Alan Ball played a dozen or so games for the Gas right at the end of his carear and he had about 70 caps I think. Just before we get gasheads boasting.
Bristol City players who played for England....
John Atyeo.....6
Terry Cooper..20
Norman Hunter..28
Joe Royal..6
Billy Wedlock..26
David James..54
Managed England..
Steve McClaren....18
Hawk, I don't think we need worry about "gasheads"..
Just out of curiosity, how many of those players played for England while playing for City?
How many of those players England career ended before playing for City - Like David James?
Having McClaren in your stats is not really a great stat to have considering his record as manager. He can stick that umbrella of his where the sum dont shine
David James was still the England keeper when he signed as he was the current holder of the Jersey Cappello decided after the world cup he wanted to go with youth(thats what he said then picks Terry et al in every game he can)
Atyeo and Wedlock won their caps whilst playing for Bristol City, for the Gas so far as I know Geoff Bradford got his 1 cap I think he is the only player to get an England cap whilst playing for the thats all I can find in my notebooks no doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
should have read playing for the Gas
All true hawk, but ol' 83 is trying to get us at it,our comparison was being made with the great Alan Ball, whilst playing for the "gasheads" and he sure as hell had stopped playing for England as had MicK Channon..
I wasnt getting at anything Wiz. I was just curious how many from your list actually played for England while at City. I actually dont know if any Rovers player played for the gas as well as England.
Hawk, if there was a international game straight after the World Cup, James would not of been picked. Just my opinion. The fact is though, he has not played for England since moved to City. I just wanted to know who has played for City and England the same time.
Very conciliatory and just to prove it I'll list BRFC players with some England connections...
Ronnie Dix,left BRFC played for Derby,1 cap..
Geoff Bradford....1 cap...
Nigel Martyn,left BRFC,23 caps...
Larry Lloyd,left BRFC,4 caps.....
For starters:
Geoff Bradford
Alan Ball
Mick Channon
Terry Cooper
Gerry Francis
Ronnie Dix
Nigel Martyn
Gary Mabbutt
Gerry Francis
............................................
Sorry...it's late...put GF twice!
Time you was tucked up ol' 49nr...If you read my posts,Ive already given mention to..
Ronnie Dix.
Geoff Bradford.
Nigel Martyn.
Larry Lloyd.
Alan Ball.
Mick Channon.
And.....Terry Cooper,ex City boy, before he joined BRFC....
After checking Geoff Bradfords 1 cap is the only England cap won by a BRFC player whilst playing for the Gas.
As my children would say...
