I can't feel that hardcore appeal that you are screaming, mate.

Don't really care. I live for the funk.

Read an article where someone said Life After Death was the most over-rated hip-hop album ever.

Pretty harsh. A lot of good tracks on it. Admittedly it was over-long. Was never a fan of the double album era, only Wu made a good job of it. But they had 10 rappers to make it.

Think you could take out a few songs ;
Naggers Bleed
I got A Story To Tell
Miss U
Another
Going Back To Cali
Playa Hater
The World Is Filled

and possibly Ten Crack Commandments

and be left with a very good album with a couple of radio friendly pop hits.

I agree about the double album, any album with 12/13+ songs gets a bit by the end.

I really liked Ten Crack Commandments, but yeh they could have cut it down to 1 very good album and had an album of 'b-sides'.

Been listening to the Wu solo albums recently. Liquid Swords was pretty good, but OB4CL is incredible.

Issue with 'over-rated' is I don't know how highly the album was rated before hand.

It got a lot of 5 stars and 9 or 10 ratings, but it was released just after he died so it is normal for that to contribute.

OB4CL is my favourite album of all time.
Try Ironman next.

I've been listening to Organized Konfusion. They have some good songs but not consistently through the whole album(s). Funnily enough their greatest hits is good

Find it hard to get into Pharoahe Monch, tbh. Like a fair few of his tracks, but cannot sit and listen to it all back to back.

I wouldn't say it is my favourite album of all time, but easily makes the top 10.

Been indulging myself in a bit of Old Skool lately, most notably Big Daddy Kane.

Aint No Half Steppin by him is one of my fav hip hop tracks of all time.

"My name is Big Daddy yo, as in your father, so when you hear a deaf rhyme believe that I'm the author"

Big Daddy Kane and The Juice Crew

Not a fan of Yelawolf, and must say that song didn't catch me.

Yeah I really didn't like that song tbh, Yelawolf is pretty terrible IMO. Hated his verse on 1train.
