So chip released two Stormzy diss tracks and in between both Stormzy tried to rush Chips house? Is that the scenario?

Dunno. Never knew he shortened his name, nor still made music.

Chip in one of the songs on joint album he did with Skepta and D-block, had a song called Waze. In that he seemed to send shots for someone, some thing for Stormzy. In any case Stormzy replied in his verse on I Dunno. Then Stormzy was filmed in June going round to Chips’ yard (video seems to have just come out now though). And Chip releases that vid yesterday. not quite clear why Stormzy was trying to beef him / have a word in person in June

I just want to hear a funny song like ‘still disappointed’ again - however Wiley was an easy target before whereas looks like Stormzy has had a mare here

Probably a thought/question aimed at DJ only.

After watching the documentary, and knowing the body of work. With GZA having arguably the greatest solo album out of all the Wu; is it fair to say that him more than anyone else would be nothing without RZA

I'd say only Method Man stood a real chance of making it without the group/RZA, tbh.
Words From The Genius wasn't a bad album, but was never going to be big.
ODB wouldn't have had a career without RZA and GZA. He was just a hype man really.
The likes of Rae, Ghost and Deck would be local only.
Masta Killa wouldn't have bothered and U-God barely sells with the Wu name.

True but I think GZAs name is most elevated because of RZA. Inspectah, Ghostface and Rae were all good rappers by their own right and just needed the help to get them started. GZA has almost a similar standing without the rapping talent probably.

Madvillain is probably his standout project for me though.

In true MF doom fashion it wouldn’t surprise me if he had staged someone else to die for him

A lot of people on Twitter going on about how he ‘transformed the genre’ which - and excuse my ignorance if wrong - but if anything he was unique in his style and legacy. Very much an outlier - a rapper who thrives off alliteration and clever wordplay to an extent we haven’t seen since.

He was very unique - the whole industry couldn’t be further away from him

RIP MF DOOM. A legend of the hip-hop genre.
