You don't like Black Hippy?

posted on 1/3/13

yeah he's chill. Reminds me of Kendrick Lamar.

Black Hippy is Kendrick Lamar.

I thought that it was just someone who looked like him

i haven't seen alot them clearly.

well who's the best one then

Yeah, they haven't released a group album yet, but are on each others albums a lot.

Liked A$AP Rockys album as well. Joey Basa$$ seems good so far.

Best of Black Hippy? I would say Ab-Soul, tbh. Obviously Kendrick has the most famous album of the 4.
Jay Rock is the one I rate the weakest.

if they went mainstream how would you feel

Kendrick has already.

well yeah

I mean as a group

I didn't listen to them before Good kid, MAAD City. And I didn't particularly like that album when I first heard it. Took time to grow on me.

Not sure what you are asking me. I think if they release a group album it will be a big seller with all the hype KL has at the moment.

I have always preferred groups to solo rappers, tbh.

Kendricks album is my one of my favorite hip hop albums

I mean, like are they a performing group?

You said they haven't released a group album yet, but if Kendrick Lamar gets famous enough people will begin to find out about the others

You should try "Control System" by Ab-Soul and "Habits and Contradictions" by ScHoolboy Q.

posted on 1/3/13

are they the others albums?

posted on 1/3/13

Would most certainly give them a listen.

posted on 1/3/13

They have a fair number of group songs on the solo albums, and I think they perform together.

They are 2 of the other albums. Think Ab-Soul has 2, Kendrick 3, ScHoolboy Q 3, and Jay Rock 2.

I'm guessing they were together well before Lamar got signed. Wonder how he made it and they didn't.
