pepe? the real madrid defender? He's managing barcelona now?
What's that psychopath doing managing Barcelona?
I think mourinho is better than guadiola
Pep is the best manager in the world.
op - mainly because the only way mourinho can beat guardiola's team is by playing very very very negative football - barcelona have beaten them a ridiculous number of times now, mourinho just cant outsmart pep.

not only does pep have the best team in the world, but all of that teams best players have been playing together for a ridiculous amount of time. even if you could match barca's team on paper, to get you team to play together for just as long would be impossible for JM unless he wanted to stay at real for the rest of his life
And to think, Barcelona look to finally be defeated by Mourinho. I mean Real Madrid are going to win the league.
ok polykhor - who should mourinho sign in order to beat barcelona? i honestly think even if mourinho signed who he wanted, he stil wouldnt be able to beat barcelona.
barcelona all already bringing through some youngsters now who are scoring in la liga and theyve fiitted into barcelona's system like a glove
Pep is class but we'll see what he's really made of when he manages a team other than Barca.
Remember the season Barca had before Pep took over? finished 10 points behind Villareal and they still had Iniesta, Xavi and Messi.
Im not a big fan of Pep tbh but to say he is just lucky passenger in the Barcelona train could not be further from the truth.
Mr Chelsea
To beat Barca you need Hiddink
Pep is a calm and good manager who inherited a team which was already worldclass when he came in. He put some decent players from the reserve through to the first team and that is what is his real contribution to the success imo.
Mou is an attention seeker and a sore loser. Mou couldnt handle young players and bring them into the first team. He needs success and want in a short time.
Mourinho is a better manager than Guardiola
I'll be proven wrong when Guardiola has won 4 different major leagues, and possibly 3 Champions' Leagues with different teams as Mourinho will have done by the end of this season

It takes a lot more than signings wether it be players or managers to be better than barcelona, especially since barca also have the power to buy players
one thing the la liga need to do is be fair with the tv rights money as unlike england the teams at the top get paid way more than the teams at the bottom, wheras in england everyone is paid the same which gives clubs in spain an unfair advantage for the teams like real and barca
also barcelona can hand pick players for their academy throughout the whole catalan region for a start, wheras madrid will have to share their land with every other team in madrid.
it's like how their are fewer teams in manchester so it's easier for teams like city or united to have all of the local talent whereas teams in the city have to struggle with local talent as their are so many more local rivals

He gave Robert Huth chances at Chelsea, spotted Diarra for £1m in the french 2nd division who is now a regular for Madrid, gave Mikel his chance as a teenager and was slowly blooding Hutch and Sinclair before he left.
Im not saying he is a Guardiola or even a Wenger when it comes to youth players but at Chelsea he looked at them more than people think.

thats exactly why he nevers settles at a club, he does things in a 2-3 year cycle this is down to his style of management and another reason why he doesnt really loojk at youth and the future propects at clubs etc

I'd say that's his only real negative side other than his infamous kick the other team as they are better than us tactics
but still as a manger few have been able to be so consistent at different clubs. he's never really flopped at any of the clubs he's managed
"I'd say that's his only real negative side other than his infamous kick the other team as they are better than us tactics"
When you are playing teams better than you, you need to have a plan to counter that.
If Jose came straight to Chelsea and decided to play open, attractive football away at Highbury i dread to think what the result would have been.

You talking of his Chelsea time and I am only refering to Real Madrid. You come out with the example Huth who now playing for Stoke. I dont want to criticise but Huth is on Stoke's level which is fair enough but nothing more. Diarra is good but not class.
Great managers get the maximum out of their team, it's hard to judge Pep when he has the best squad of all time at his disposal. He's impressive but he doesn't have half the problems most managers have because his players are so amazing!

no one said he needed to try and beat barca at their own game, I'm just saying that even though I think he's the best manager in the world, that doesn't make it ok for him to basically employ a game plan that consists of cheating and hoping the referee doesn't see it
just because you're not as good as your opponents doesn't make kicking your opponents ok
Sorry to interrupt you guys but we need to bust this myth that he doesn't stay at club for more than 2-3 years.
Left Porto after winning the lot and offered to manage in better league.
Left Chelsea due to personal differences, basically sacked. Waited for an year so basically he didn't leave Chelsea for another club.
Left Inter after winning the lot and who will refuse to manage Madrid and Challenge Barca's domination.
Will he leave Madrid next year, no even if he wins CL & league.
Will come back to England?? yes, because he loves England

does it really matter though? when it comes down to it it's not a managers responsibility to stay at a club forever and rechange it from head to toe, mo's got his own ambitions I'm sure. and pretty much everytime he moves clubs he goes up to something bigger and better than his previous job
