Cas must have had a better view than me because I was sat in the third row at pitch level behind the net. My view was so bad I didn't know who scored the second goal. What he said is pretty spot on, but I would have given MOM to Ward, as would the three others in the car on the way home. Peter Clarke would have been second behind him though.

To be fair ONE decent performance doesn't change my opinion of Peter Clarke yet, he'll need to build some consistency to do that because he was awful before his hernia injury. If he can return to be the player he was 2 years ago then I'm happy to have him back!

The L666ds fans last night were blaming Grayson on Talk Sport. The lad opposite me at work said it was a freaky result, but L666ds were awful too

Leeds fans blaming Grayson for Warnocks team losing is no different to the way Town fames have been blaming Clark for Graysons team losing, and to be honest they probably have a point. Although a new manager has to take some responsibility they're both still getting to know their players and the squad is still pretty much that of the old managers.

One thing I do like about Grayson though - his use of subs. Clark never did nothing until it was too late whereas Grayson is pro-active and looks to make a change around the hour mark even if we're in front to kill the game off.

two good goals.. but we were never convincing winners..

the little bald bloke in midfield for them ran the game..if they had strikers rather than pacy frontmen it would have been another poor night for us..

joey and kay still 10 yards off the play, still 10 yards from where the ball drops everytime we lump it up and the defenders win the header..

two free headers from 6 yards missed by chesterfield.. Boots or anyone else tell me where captain fantastic was then.. they had a sot from 20 odd yards that smithies fumbled, the centre forward was then tackled by clark just on the 6 yard line, what the hell was clark doing on the penalty spot marking their centre forward when everyone else was outside the box???
The second half passed with us having a half chance from a corner..it was livened up with the introduction of alan lee who chased all the long hopefull stuff..the rest of the game was us sitting on the edge and inside our box chesterfield pumped high stuff into the box and down the wide channels..
If we do that on saturday charlton will do much better than chesterfield..
Pretty much the same as the last few games apart from the chances for chesterfield went begging and we scored 2 good ones.. as previously said if jordan had taken one of the other 2 easy chances he had and roberts hadnt skimmed the bar with just the keep to beat it might have been a different second half.. as it is we looked shifty at times and when you drop that deep anything can drop for the opposition, its just that they messed it up when it did..
we had very little good possession and very little poor possession and the "tactic" of whacking it high into one corner everytime by joey and kay was very surreal and very odd to watch...????
I guess if we had won the bury game and the rochdale game then this would have gone down as a average nights work and a good result in the circumstances, but lets not forget we didnt win those games....

We've looked much more solid under Warnock, it seemed the players were tired and slipped back into the bad habits they picked up under Grayson.
