I'd still fancy Real to do the business in the Bernabeu if this stays 2-1. Great contest though.

May well have fallen out with the higher-ups at Bayern, but almost seems set up for him to win the whole thing, with his departure confirmed for the end of the season.

I'd fancy Real to win the tie fairly comfortably if this first leg stays even. The Bernabeu on a knockout CL night is different gravy. Fortunately we didn't have to experience it when we knocked Real out in 2021.

No pain either way. I don't see him making a dramatic difference if he did (not straight away), too much is f*cked up.

Would just be nice knowing we've got the best person for a job we could realistically have somewhere in this football club right now.

We beat them 2-3 at the Bernabeu but lost the tie overall.
