As a Chelsea fan I feel a bit embarrassed this only has 100,000 views so far. Really hope Thiago Silva comes back as head coach one day 💙

Yeah there’s never been corruption in football
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Has there ever been a conspiracy agst one particular club?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not the point. The point is you guys laugh off the thought of corruption as if it’s absurd when it’s only unproven so far in the capacity you’re limiting it to.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, I have not laughed of corruption as absurd. I have written off the idea that there is a deliberate conscious conspiracy by match officials agst Chelsea

----------------------------------------------------------------------
No one really said that though. What your saying was that chelsea started getting beneficial decisions once roman came in. Which would be a deliberate conspiracy by officials in and of itself.

Would it be a deliberate conspiracy? I think the truth is most biases are not conscious ones.

Like, I don't think referees consciously agreed to give Man United decisions in the 1990s but I do think the crowd and Ferguson cowed them a bit. Likewise Mourinho. That's not corruption its just human nature.

According to a report from Spain, Chelsea are in the mix to sign Inter striker Marcus Thuram this summer, with his current club possibly even being forced to move him on at the end of the season: "The French striker has impressed in his debut season and his market value makes him a desired target for clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea. Inter could be forced to consider offers for him."

Chelsea could also be set for a £77 million deal with RB Leipzig for French centre back Castello Lukeba.

No that is factually incorrect I did not say that and because you got your facts wrong you have made an incorrect assumption.

I very clearly said that once we won titles under Mourinho we began to get more favourable decisions as a result of being one of the big boys. In my experience of watching football the big teams challenging for trophies get the best of the decisions, very often they might be lots of small decisions, rather than large decisions, but it is very noticeable and it was very noticeable when it started happening to us.

I don't think its corruption, just subconscious psychological pressure on refs

posted 2 weeks, 2 days ago

It's like being on the Arsenal thread, many of their fans over the years complaining how hard done by they are by match officials, conspiracy theories being touted, oh woe is us...

As I said previously, I don't think we get decisions go our way atm as they used to, and I believe that is highly correlated to the fact that we are not currently perceived as one of the big title challenging teams, but that is not corruption, its psychological and as long as I can remember it was always thus.

You seen Terry's comments about him failing to establish authority? I stumbled onto that when I saw this news.

Very interesting. Can be seen two ways and (imo) neither of them come out of the story looking good.

Rúben Amorim’s recent trip to London was paid for by Chelsea, not West Ham United. That’s according to journalist Pedro Sepúlveda, who says it is actually Chelsea who brought him over for discussions.

Maybe Dalot-James swap deal? Done as separate transfers of course, so we get that sweet FFP release

Can't think of anything else. And couldn't see either player being up for that anyway.

Yes please. He'd be awesome here. Only problem is price tag, they bought him for £100 mill so they're not selling for much less.

Garnacho definitely.

Maybe AWB if James never gets fit, but only as a backup.

Rashford is too erratic for his wages.

Onana instead of Sanchez maybe.

A team with Grealish, Gyokeres, Palmer and a fit all season Nkunku and we win the PL 🏆.

Petrovic
Gusto Fofana Colwill Chilwell
Enzo Caicedo
