did i say it was? i just don't like the way that some incidents aren't even reported. given's blatant handling of the ball outside the area wasn't even shown on match of the day two's 'highlights'. why not?

Yes, he should have been booked for that, however given that the referee had made mistakes in the game, they usually know they have and try not to give a decision after it. One mistake ruins the whole game.
the only other mistakes the referee made yesterday were booking michael carrick for a perfectly timed challenge and not awarding a second penalty against villa for a clear handball in the box.

Yes, there should have been another penalty but as I said, the referee had already made a mistake which changed the game and they usually try not to give a decision after it.
The trouble with looking at individual games is it can be misleading - and not reflect the statistical reality of refereeing performances.
The reality here is that Young engineered another penalty and you can call it cheating or 'playing for it' as Fergie said.
Either way its conning people into gaining an advantage.
Tainted title. As per.
In fairness, at least Fergie came out and condemned Young for it. That is a lot easier to do when you've won.
if it's so easy to be honest in an interview after a victory then why does your mentally deficient manager struggle regardless of the result?

Example?
I mean it was only last week when Fergie yet again blamed the referee after a defeat.
'tainted tile', ha ha. tainted would be the word best used to describe liverpool's titles 'achieved' by playing tedious 'football' and passing backwards. or the four european cups 'won' whilst beating the likes of hertha berlin and shamrock rovers.

Blah, what? Are you a thicko?
no, but sadly i'm conversing with one.
If you have seen any of the football from the 70's and 80's then you have a funny view of football. Some of the goals are also outstanding. Souness and Terry Mac could hit a ball better than many around today.
You still haven't given me an example.
Ole Ashley Young is a cheat though. That's still the main issue from your game. That's two very suspect decisions/incidents from the last 3 games.
Backs up people's beliefs.
ashley young is no better or worse than steven gerrard or luis suarez.

That's a blatant lie. This is the thing that annoys people about Liverpool fans, they are the first to point fingers at other players but never accept their layers do the same.
Gerrard dives a lot, more than once a season, Suarez does as well and Carroll has joined the party.
Utd fans will admit it but you guys never, ever will.

I'll always admit when people dive. Ashley Young has done so for a long time. I said it in his Villa time a lot. Did you defend him then?
If Sunday's dive happened against you there would be uproar.
It's all to often. Carroll was terrible for doing a stupid dive recently but he has done it once.

of course you did
steven gerrard dived in a champions league final.
LFC, outraged at everything, ashamed of nothing.
Ashley needs to sort this out though. SAF reined in Ronaldo and Nani, I'm sure he'll do the same with Young.

Yes. He has dived a few times since that too. However he doesn't do it, in nearly every game, like Young does.
I know you'll not accept that as you go on the defensive, as you have done throughout this article but that's the truth of the matter.
yesterday young was caught by clarke and a penalty was the correct decision. i'll be honest enough to admit that i don't like the way young exaggerated it, but the vast majority of players at any level would have done the same. it's part of the game and probably always will be.
