Im just not renewing my season ticket, its not a boycott, its simply not value for money anymore....its not far off the same price to just buy a ticket for every home game in the kop, there is no benefits, and as i said i can still away tickets which is my preference!

Im cutting my nose of to spite my face by not going, if Ken showed ambition id probably take the hit to the bank account and renew!
But its not happened and regardless what Tuscany says about SG being backed the reality is weve sold all our main assets and not replaced them....no one can seriosuly think SG got the players HE wanted....he worked off the scraps no one else wanted

Thats the bit I don't get Gelderd, cutting off your nose to spite your face. I wouldn't want to give someone the satisfaction of denying me something I enjoy.

Pags: I went in the 80's when we watched some right trash. The prices fitted the product then. People want to support LU but the price and the product aren't right.
Leeds supporters would come back without us being in the play off's or in the Prem. How many did we get in the 1st Division not many copped out then.Fans are brain washed into thinking their not true fans
if we don't give the club our money.
It's only sport that can do this to customers.
Other entertainment industries would not get away with it.

LIW you are the only disgrace on here, what gives you the right to abuse people who through their own choice for whatever reasons decide not to attend ER.I live in NI and can guarantee you i was attending matches before you where born and like many others followed Leeds everywhere in the dark days of the 80s and into l1 and the -15 points and in all that time i have never seen anyone treated as badly and with such utter contempt as Leeds United fans by Bates.

LIW, I know you have stated that you detest KB as much as anyone.

How do you view the phrase "all that evil needs to succeed, is for good people to do nothing" in that context?

What do you feel you are doing to prevent evil from succeeding at the club we support?

Evil

for crying out loud

good bye

But in all honesty going to ER isnt enjoyable anymore....yes the odd game the fans get behind the team and make it a decent atmosphere, but on the whole its not been the place it was, for a while now.

To me, there is no buzz going to home games, thats why i've always preferred going away, its more of an occasion and something id rather fund, inbetween picking and choosing what home games to go to. The idea that im boycotting the club is way off, ill just be taking it to other grounds other than ER

Supporting the team, so in the hope someone see's that potential fanbase and buys us.

Less crowds = less chance of takeover

Boycotts have never ever worked in football

LIW i think you are the one who needs to wind your neck in,how can you call someone sc um and a disgrace for following their principals by not backing a bloodsucking leech who is a cancer to Leeds. If your local pub was taken over by a new landlord who raised the prices and served you dishwater to drink, served crappy food and turned a real rocking hotspot into a dead zone and turned all the locals against each other would you still go or would you boycott the premises all because of the changes he implimented.
I think i know what your answer is going to be.Your love of Leeds United is no greater than anyboby elses but you just follow through blind faith whereas other people say hang on a minute, this just isnt right and decide to do something about it,hench the boycott(and yes i do know the meaning of the word as it originated in ireland.) so get of your high horse and stop pushing yourself as the voice of the faithful at ER

Completely agree, and this season, its been a chore going at times.

But I think under warnock its changed abit and hopefully its changed for next season

Agreed on atmosphere but its been duff for ages...like ages and ages. Its your choice. I'm carrying on as it gives me something to do. When I split with my ex, I liked that I had football on a Saturday and I've met loads of people through it. I've been abused by our own fans, sat through some duff performances and results but I wouldn't give it up unless I physically couldn't afford it anymore.

To call someone a cancer is a bit of a disgrace. No matter how much you hate someone, that is a horrible, debilitating disease that destroys people. Whilst Bates is an unsavoury character, that comment is disgusting.

It happened and I went to a different pub.

You cant with your football club, so dont see your point.

Erm where have I been doing that, its a forum dingbat, its my opinion, people dont have to agree and I certainly have never said am the voice of the fans.

Pags: Wasn't saying your brainwashed, I was saying we as supporters are brainwashed.
I have been going years, but I am weak because I've let Ken Bates drive me out. I don't see that as a weakness I see it as a strength KB is not interested in me only my money. I will come back, I'm itching to come back but when I choose.
friends?

You're just as bad LIW.

LIW thats what i mean you cant change your team so you dont attend and just support from afar even if you live next door to the ground. It may not be what you want but if enough people follow the same line then somewhwere along the way things have got to change.
Yes this is a forum but you have a habit of making bold statements and shooting people down who dont agree with you.Im sorry mate but thats not how a forum works,so that makes you the disgrace.
Pags i know cancer is not a nice thing and that it prays on living cells without remorse and thats about the closest thing i can think of to resemble Bates

If i thought a boycott would force him out, I'd do it.

It wont though

Unscrupulous, tightfisted, questionable are all words I can think of for his behaviour (plus I have a few choices words just to call him that I can't use on this forum) but he is a businessman and he will always be a businessman.

I don't like him and never will, I dont agree with the hotel, I think he coldl do more for the team and some of his actions are stupid at the best of times. But calling him cancer is a low and takes you down to his level for even suggesting it.

There one big difference, you can cure and get rid of cancer, you cant with this s c umbag
