Pags i have read on here people referring to bates using that term dozens of times,threads on which you have replied several times to but i have never heard you give off to anyone about it until now so i will just take it with a pinch of salt that you are trying to defend your other half.

I'd not call Bates a cancer, that is a bit harsh - however it's only a description, not sure anyone is wishing the actual ailment on him. What i'd call him is a parasite. Anyone care to tell me i'm wrong about that ??? lol

The thing about an abscess is it can be seen and smelled.

cancer is like a parasite that invades the body taking over and finally destroying the good cells unless it can be removed through various treatments with the most drastic being the need for surgery to cut it out then the outcome is usually a slow and painful demise.I have witnessed enough of this in my time to see that is what Ken Bates is doing to Leeds United.I did not wish cancer on him or anyone else and the term may not be pleasant but it is the term that fits him best

Actually a dental abscess can fester under the surface for ages and not show itself for a while. It is a disease that destroys enamel and gums. It doesnt smell unless you pop it. Sometimes it can not be seen but it grows and attacks.

we will have to agree to disagree, i do not like that term. Bates did not kill my family members, nor is he currently attacking the cells of my friend. I think its a stupid thing to say but thats just my opinion.

Pags things have changed from the fifties when people didnt dare mention the C word.Nowadays it is a word banded about randomly and used in many different ways with many different meanings used to fit the required staement at the time.Get over yourself thinking you are holier than thou.Try reading between the lines every now and then

Its not a case of it being banded about, it shouldn't be banded about. its a serious disease that causes a lot of heartbreak and to even contemplate calling a human being something like that is disgusting and you should look at yourself and the kind of person you are.
