seriously John no one can tell whether you're taking the piss

Better passer? He hardly ever makes any meaningful passes!

Walcott is effective but Valenica is just more intelligent.

He's better than Nani but Valencia is pure quality imo, would love to have him play for us

The only thing I'd say Walcott has over Valencia is finishing and even that is debatable.

But seriously Valencia >>> Walcott

John is a WUM. I have no doubts. But at leats give him this, he's a decent one. He even winds up Arsenal fans like Pete and JJG!

Valencia inteligent? Are you having a laugh?

All he does is cross the ball he's got no skills/tricks gets the ball one thing on his mind cross it into the box

Valencia is excellent. He's like Xavi. Now before you jump on me, hear me out.

Both players aren't actually that exciting, many find them boring. But they're both beautifully simple. They keep things uncomplicated, they don't take too many risks, and they're both very effective at what they do. Compare and contrast to Nani, who is a more talented footballer than Valencia, but is less effective and more wasteful because his game is too cluttered.

I'm not saying these players are uncomplicated in the same way as an 'uncomplicated' English centre-half who takes about 5 minutes to control a football, they are just beautifully simple and very efficient.

John is the best WUM ever.

John, he can beat his man with a few tricks. Cut in. Link up with strikers.

Yes he crosses the ball most of the time but that's good coz it gets them goals!!!!!!!

Valencia is average

Don't believe the hype.

At least he'll cross it, Walcott can barely do that

Have to agree to an extent, put valencia in arsenal's system and he will not have much effect. Whenever somebody crosses the ball, there is rarely more than 1 body in the box.

Nani would flourish at a Real Madrid/Barcelona because they would allow him to express himself.

Man Utd game plan is get wide get players inside the box and cross the ball

Valencia and Theo are both very one dimensional players who can only be successful in England, having said that Valencia is far more effective though.

Xavi boring? Wtf are you on about

posted on 3/4/12

I think Valencia's massively overrated. Like John says all he does is use his physical strengths to get to the byline and put a cross in. His crosses aren't even that good most of the time although he is a better crosser than Walcott.

I prefer Nani as a player.

Valencia is miles better Walcott and Gervinho combined.

Valencia is obviously more effective, but he is very limited.
Given a choice, Valencia sneaks it at the momemt but he's older and plays in a better team.

Theo on the other hand is the fastest footballer Europe if not the world! which makes a threat, whether you like him or not, its a fact, numbers dont lie.
