"He's really not"
Welbeck.
Berbatov and Balotelli RVP can only dream of doing what they do
I would argue that Aguero, Tevez and maybe Suarez are up there or even ahead of Van Persie in terms of technical ability.
Dzeko? Good player. But are you insane?
The guy tumbles down whenever he receives a simple pass.
Dzeko is about as technical as that genius Adebayor.
Suarez close control and dribbling is better than Van Persie's but his finishing is woeful. Already said that I think Balotelli and Berbatov in this country are both better with the ball than Van Persie just not as effective.

Oh give me a break
Aren't you the resident Spurs wum who camps out on the Arsenal board? Like anyone will value your opinion!
Dubbed, really, how could you bite.
Just putting it out there.
Berbatov and Balotelli are not as technically gifted as van Persie. Sorry, but it's not even close - you could combine both of their abilities technically and they would still be streets behind van Persie.
This shouldn't even be up for debate. Van Persie is vastly superior.
Based on the opinions on this thread, we can now establish that Van Persie does not have the technique of Balotelli, the vision of Berbatov, the dribbling of Suarez, the touch of Aguero or the golf skills of Tevez. He is the slowest striker in the world and is a target man who happens to be weak and poor in the air.
Berbatov has a good touch, and decent vision. But has the pace and power of a middle aged, dehydrated widow.
Balloteli has good technique. But he's physically more than anything.
Samir_Nasri - Let's not let bias cloud our judgement eh?
Van Persie has great technique, but his overall technical ability I wouldn't say matches what those guys can do.
Demba Cisse has better technique than RVP.
Yes we've all seen Aguero, Tevez and Suarez smash a 50 yard ball over the top in on the volley on a regular basis haven't we.
Let's not let bias cloud our judgement eh?

Bias? I one of the least biased posters on this site, I'm sure most people would tell you.
Granted, I can exaggerate my opinions a little, but seriously, Berbatov and Balotelli are not as technically gifted as van Persie. It's not even a close contest.

Think you haven't watched enough of either if you think that.

And all this rubbish is being spouted because he's not scored in his last 3 games
Tbf Demba Cisse is something else.

I have seen enough of both to know that van Persie's close control and technical ability is better than both of them.
Seriously people, why is this even up for debate?

But pace and power are bad things, no decent footballer would rely on those.
