I never support other clubs in Europe to be honest, although i was right behind Fulham when they went all the way to the Europa League final

Catch 22.

All teams contribute to the coefficient hoewever, it would be unbearable for local rivals to have the bragging rights.

I was cheering Chelsea on, as I was looking ahead to the hammering the will receive in the next round.

I can only just about manage to support my own club. Asking me to support others is out of the question.

Never. Also whats the definition of an English team, aren't Chelsea owned by a Russian?

Although on the bright side, Chelsea beating Benfica gives them at least 2 more nasty fixtures which should help us in our quest for the top 4.

I will be more behind Spurs and Arsenal in Europe than Chelsea or Liverpool, put it that way. I'd want Liverpool to fail the most in the competition though.

It depends on what team. I don't mind Spurs or Arsenal doing well in Europe and I would cheer them on to win it if United were out. Also, the lesser english teams in Europa.

However, I would never support Chelsea as I 'dislike' most of their players. Cashley, JT etc.

Also, never want Liverpool to win a game.

In all seriousness I love it when English teams go out of Europe although for some strange reason I remember wanting Spurs to beat Milan so we could play them as I knew Spurs were no threat in the competition, same with Arsenal.

Me and my housemates actually celebrated and went to Tesco at midnight the night United went out of Europe

I cheer for all English clubs in Europe except for Spurs. It doesn't stop me from laughing at them if they go out at the group stages though.

When I was younger I liked to see other English teams to well. This has subsided over the years.

Chelsea I've never liked so dont care what happens to them.

Utd - I actually wanted to do well in the days of Becks etc as there were plenty of British & Irish players in their team back them.

Arsenal - I don't need to answer that but I didnt mind them beating Villareal in that semi final due to the Spanish teams constant diving and histrionics throughout both legs

Liverpool - they always felt like the underdogs to me in Europe so didnt mind them going all the way.

City - hoped they'd go out in the group stages and they did just that!

Smaller clubs like Stoke, Fulham, Birmingham, Ipswich, Millwall etc who have graced Europe will always have my backing. It's an underdog thing
