now you are dreaming. united created twice as many chances as city in the second half
A remarkable feat considering City had had a CB sent off.
I don't think 4-4-2 will be the right formation unless Mancini plays that formation too, I can see Bobby playing a 4-5-1 and we need to do the same or we'll get overrun in midfield which will be where the game will be won on.
I think the FA Cup game posed a few more questions than answers, i know you need to contain games at times but why go out in the second half with a 'keep ball' mentality when a 4th or 5th was potentially on offer? our players stopped bursting forward and just passed it backwards and sideways, i know Mancini did well tactically but complacency and a lack of a killer instinct could have cost us that day, and that would have been embarrassing.
It's just our fecking luck Tevez and Silva are back on form too, the derby is going to be very scary.

I agree that we should play with 5 in midfield SAF has tended to go 4-4-2 in the big games the past couple of seasons though, maybe the 1-6 will be on his mind though and he might want to be more compact in the middle, i hope he does anyway.
"Is there any point relying on Wolves next week to do United a favour? I can see another 6-1 drubbing there by City to be honest."
I was thinking something similar last week when you were playing Wigan. All they've ever taken off United in the league in past games was a battering. Never say never, I'm not expecting us to get anything until the final whistle blows.
wigan had something to play for, wolves do not.

Arab one thing football teaches you is that when you are winning big a setback is nto really far away. Remember December when we won big against Fulham, Wigan, Wolves and QPR and then the next game was a gimme against Blackburn at OT. We all know what happened. Having said that its unlikely that Wolves will be able to take points from City.

have city fans forgotten that United had a CB sent off too in the game at OT?
Correct Leo, but Wigan are actually showing fight and spirit in their last few games. They outplayed Chelsea at times and lost a valuable point due to a last minute goal which should have been offside as the same should be said for Chelsea's first goal. They was due a win anyway, but I've never seen Wolves show any form of spirit or fight in staying in this league. They just want this season to end really.
We should get a draw from the derby and win at QPR. I hope so because I don't want to go into the Sunderland game needing a win! Would love to win at City with a last min Young penalty just to wind up the bitters.
The relevence of that statement eludes me.
i've already seen united win the league at eastlands, so i really coudn't care less where we win it, just that we do.

Very valid point there.
You only think Rooney will hurt them? What about young nani Valencia scholes carrick cleverly or welbeck?
welbeck was brilliant against city in the cup. he could have had a hattrick in the first half alone.
I congratulate you on the most appropriate of names.

No, Wigan have have been in good form and have the PL stop to play for.
As I live near Wolverhampton, I can tell you the fans are resigned to relegation, and have been for weeks. If it isn't 4 or 5 I'd be very surprised.
And its nice to see Doris has come out of his hole after Citys recent wins
I'm also pretty confident Welbeck will start, he just makes our attack have a lot more fluency and movement.
But Busby he can't finish chances he needs about 6, Hernandez should start IMO at least he knows where the net is.
I wonder what the result would be if a poll was conducted amongst neutrals asking:-
Who is more likely to commit a red card offence next Sunday - Scholes or Silva but ask who's more likely to get sent off in the same games Tevez or Rooney.
Tevez will get sent off for trying to break SAF's legs IMO.
