Who is going down?

Wolves, blackburn and QPR are going down.

Cant agree that Owen Coyle is out of his depth in the Prem at all.

hoping Bolton stay up and QPR go down. Blackburn and Wolves are already gone

We beat Liverpool as well as Wigan, and when they were in better form, and drew to Arsenal, so we can play the 'big clubs'.

We also had a 3 wins in the row before a disappointing loss to fulham and losing to a wondergoal and an offside goal to Newcastle. I actually think we should have beat them. So we do have late season improvement.

We also have two games in hand and easier fixtures than QPR.

And we have scored more than Wigan.

Biggest shock in the article though is when you said you we're a Bolton fan. I genuinely thought you were a wum or just someone who watches motd highlights.

Asking in all respect, have you watched the full 90 minutes of our last 5 games? Apart from the Fulham and Wolves we have not looked like a relegation team.

"Nothing short of 6 points from the 2 games over the next few days will do."

Actually, I think most of us would settle for three points, be very happy with four, and don't really expect six.

rivington mike - you have nailed it with why Bolton will be looking forward to the N power championship next season im afraid.

for me its...

Bolton
Blackburn
Wolves

Wolves, if Bolton beat Swansea and they lose to Man City are all but down mathematically.

Rivingtonmike - The fact we've won the most matches out of all the other sides down there, (and played less), shows we're not totally awful, just means we can't churn out those badly needed draws.

It's all about who's capable of putting together a good run of results instead of winning the odd one and losing the rest.

If we have 35 points on Tuesday night it's going to be silent on here.

Thumbs up if your optimistic and not choosing to decide your team is relegated despite having TE beat chance out of the 3 remaining teams (QPR, Blackburn, Bolton)

What a pathetic article Mike. Where's your fight to get behind the team. You know what, do the rest of the Reebok faithful a favour and don't bother attending the rest of the games this season! We need people to get behind the team, not sit there and cry about something that hasn't happened and might not happen.

Yes we may get relegated this season its a possibility, but unless you and some others change your stinking attitude how can we expect the players to rise to the occaision? oh, I get it. We're going to moan at the players at every oppotunitiy and if Owen Coyle can't get them to rise above it we're going to blame Owen Coyle!

Where's your fight Mike? Are you gutless? Show some frickin' pride in the Wanderers and be like most of us the 12 man for the team. If you can't do any of the above, if you can't stand next to your fellow Wanderer and cheer on the lads to the last then its time to jog on! I don't have any reservations about that either. Go and support a team that always finishes at the top of the league. There's 2 quite close to us that you can choose from, one blue and the other red.

JAH... people are entitled to their opinions.

Im sure people like me (including the OP) who are realists can see that to stay up is going to take a mammoth effort - something Wigan have proven they are capable of making, something I feel we dont have the guts to make.

im sure he will, along with me and 15,000 or so other realistic fans, HOPE, by some miracle we get out of this mess...but the omens and our current form seem to put this dream way out of reach. When the players come on to the pitch I will do my usual, sing my lungs out and cheer the lads on...

If my half time however, the team show non of this 'fight' you so passionately talk about, then I will voice my opinion...loudly. as will many others.

Telling people like me and the OP to 'jog on' as you put it (a propper scally term by the way) Is not right, I know hundreds of fans like me who follow the whites home and away... and dont agree that if the players look like they cant be arised, they WILL NOT be getting happy-clapped off the pitch and into there Bentleys...sorry if that does not make me a 'propper fan' in your eyes.

If you ask me my opinion (an opinion that I get told on here by certain happy-clappers that simply does not matter, but il say it anyway), people who sit on there aris's for 90 mins and give it the 'clap-clap, wave-wave' routine may as well be the ones who stay at home...

fans like that are the ones that shouldn't bother turning up...

fans who look like they dont give one ounce of aris-gravy whatever the result...

I'm sorry JAH,

Your comments are more 'pathetic' than the article..

A Bolton fan having his opinion on site open for opinion abused (Yes abused, not argued), shows maybe you're nervous and not ready for the 'fight'....?

I've been very critical of Owen Coyle, but somehow on the predictor, have us staying up.. I've been negative for the most part of the season...

Go on, question my love and fight for the club...! Tell me to support someone else...

*****Newsflash - BWFC are bottom 3 in April, and some fans are not convinced we will survive..*******

I also find it funny that your showing the same attitude you hate or fellow fans having to one of your fellow posters...

or do you only show 'passion and fight' on a forum...

I read this forum most days, but I comment very rarely. Mainly because I can't be bothered to get into petty arguments with strangers.

However, the one thing that really riles me is when people tell others to go and support another club, usually Unilted, because they have a different opinion on the club's future, managers, players, tactics...

How can you know, JAH, how Rivington Mike acts when he's at the match? For all you know, he might be one of the two lads sat at the front, literally, banging the drum. Just because he comes on here to offer his opinion on the situation we find ourselves in, and it is the polar opposite to yours doesn't make him any less of a fan.

To say why don't you just go and support somebody else is, in my opinion, the most childish response you can give.

I'm not even going to predict this because anything can happen yet and every time the team give me a glimmer of hope, they let me down, again.

If you can honestly say you're happy with what you've seen this season Holdsworth, I doubt you've been to many games this season yourself.

We have a better squad than Wigan, Swansea, B'burn, Norwich, Wolves & WBA and should be competing with Sunderland, Fulham & Stoke.

I wonder why we're not?

(a propper scally term by the way) Brilliant!

Fair point Trig, provided your not one of the ones that continually moans at players through the whole 90 mins! You and our friend Mike here seem not to be realists Trigg - that's pessimists. Realists are that we have 3 home games left all of which are winable starting with Saturday. Optimists are that we will collect 9 points from those 3 home games and be safe.

Mike here states:
"Their heavy home defeat against Fulham, a team with nothing to play for and a poor away record, was simply awful."

This is simply not giving credit to a team that were and are significantly superior to us and who almost beat Chelsea 2 days later after thumping us. Also OC was slamed for 'single-handidly' losing to Wigan who have since beaten Liverpool at Anfield, Arnsenal at the Emirates and Man U at the DW.

If you say I am a 'happy-clapper' and have rose-tinted glasses on, you and Mike here have welding goggles on!

MT, so I can't have an opinion about another BWFC supporters opinion now? ..........and 'pathetic'......

C'mon mate, there's a bit of pot and kettle there ain't there?

I don't like's Mike's opinion and I'm bloomin' well telling him. Is that not my right?

RB. No I'm not happy with what I've seen. Its been a pants season, but we now all have to dig deep. Collectively, we have the power to get the team out of this. We just have to believe.

I can't keep an argument up with everybody here at the same time, so if you can create an orderly queue please.

It is clear that you are a Bolton supporter, Mike. The fact that your comment, "Also the manager is out of his depth in the Premiership and has failed to motivate and get the best out of the team.", is the only one about a manger of the bottom five teams says it all anyway.

Thus, I don't think your article has a fair balance, as I think Steve Kean and certainly Terry O'Connor are out of their depth too, but you fail to mention that, or indeed anything about them in your OP.

I have got to say, I think this is just another way of having a sly dig at Coyle, without the title being directly linked to it.

Anyway, my bottom 5 are

16th Wigan
17th Bolton
18th Blackburn
19th QPR
20th Wolves

"Realists are that we have 3 home games left all of which are winable starting with Saturday. "

How many home games have we played this season? How many have we won? What's that as a percentage?

Now being real is 3 from 3 and 100%....?

Really?

Absolutely not... People know me....

I've never claimed to be anything different to what I am... Wonder if Moses is critical of you in the way he is with me.?

Cheap shot, that, MT.

JAH did say that 9 points from 3 games is 'optimistic' in his very next sentence from the one that you quoted.

No, you've not understood the point...

The comment I made adds to the concern that we are in a world of trouble, which is the point of the article and what the author is saying...

I'm commenting on the article TRR, not tricking the words written by JAH...

Maybe I shoud have extended that sentence..
