We're fine in terms of homegrown players for next season the club I think just want a new English CB to replace Terry and as future captain.

BK - we won't get Richards, but if he was an option I;d take him (Walker is better IMO tho) and Rodwell seems to be getting worse rather than better. He can't even get a game for Everton so wouldn't have him taking up a midfield place at Chelsea personally

It's quiet here today. On homegrown players, there are very few that are even worth thinking about. when talking about young English players. Jones and Smalling I;d have taken but they are at Utd now. Wilshere won;t leave Arsenal and we already have Sturridge. Mceachran should develop into a great player. Kyle Walker is about the only other that I really rate.

Chill gazza. We will sign players. I;d rather we took our time and got a few quality players than rushed in and bought a job lot of players no better than what we have.

I don't think he is anywhere near as good as other young wingers in Europe who will be available for much much cheaper. He is ok from what I've seen btu not 10m-12m

I'd have taken Jennings tho. less than £2m and better than Oxlade Chamberlain IMO

a few weeks ago I thought we were ont he verge of Lukaku, De Bruyne, Falcao, Moutinho etc with the Modric thing still hanging around. Now it is just all up in the air. different players linked every day but nothing concrete apart from the Modric thing dragging on

The move does have some logic in it for that reason gazza the problem is, will Essien be back and ready by the time the move expires anyway, and is Parker good enough? I just feel we should now forget about Essien all together

Tiote has had a very good season. However, is he really a 15M player? I'm not sure. I haven't seen Vidal or Sissoko play but the way they're talked about makes me think they're much better players, plus they wouldn't cost any more than Tiote.

Well if you are talking about last season then Scott Parker was on a completely different level to Essien. But I felt this season Essien was going to pick up his game, but unfortunately he’s picked up another injury.

I like Tiote alot as well but no where near as much as Vidal or Sissoko.

De Rossi is a great player TNS but taking into account wage, age, transfer fee etc I'd still have him below those 2 players.
