Willian would be better off going elsewhere. New challenge, new club. He should go somewhere where he'll be the talisman. He's been important for us but next season with all these new signings and with our young players only getting stronger he'll likely just be another number here. Maybe even just a squad player and he wouldn't want that would he?

His family will be well looked after wherever he goes though. And if we're not going to offer him the three years he allegedly wants then staying with us might not be the best option.

I'll be surprised if one of those offers isn't from Spurs seeing as Jose has always had a boner for Willian. If so he'd be able to stay in London. At Arsenal too.

Yeah a PL proven keeper, I'm fully on board with. Think with Pope you know what you're getting. More uncertainty with someone like Onana and how he'll take to the league.

But yeah I think with players like Rice and Chilwell we should stay away as I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives

I'm not sure where Stones ends up if City get rid this summer. I seriously doubt a top four club takes him. Someone like Spurs might take him although I'm not sure who's going to want to pay the English tax on him given how poor he's been for some time now.

Think he'd suit a club like Southampton, Everton. Midtable and challenging for EL.

But yeah just reminds me of AC and probably look comfortable playing in a back 3.

Stones ain't the answer, he's more of the same. At some point we'll need to buy a CB, no doubt about it, but we need an undisputed world class CB. Someone who'll come in & instantly be a top 3 player in the squad, now or potentially within 12-24 months. The VVD figure.

None of our CB's are terrible. All of them have qualities with obvious flaws & as a group actually compliment each other in different ways, but we need that one guy whose good at everything & can lead the entire backline.
