Godin,Pastore,De Bruyne,Aguero,Lukaku I will be happy with that If we manage to sign them.
-------------------------
I would only get a new CB if both Bruma and Rajcovic go on loan. I also think that maybe we should go for a versatile CB if we did go for one, someone like Richards ( I know we won't get him, just an example) or Onuoha, someone who could fill in both the RB spot and the CB spot. Kill two birds with one stone

So Lukaku said Chelsea would be his preferred team and then suddenly goes quite on the move? Suspicous...

Malaga have supposedly put in a bid of 34M euro's for Pastore. Italian media reporting that a deal could be close.

Malaga seem to be linked with a lot of players, like Lucho Gonzalez. Have they just done a Man.City or something and been bought by someone with rich resources? Because although I'm no expert on La Liga I always thought they were a relegation candidate side

BK - Yeah they've been taking over by some Sheikh. He's planning on making the stadium a 65,000 seater from 28,963.

Bought the club for 36M i think.

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nassar Al-Thani, that's his name, member of the Qatari royal family.

65000 seats where are the new 35000 fans gonna suddenly come from? Retired English couples?
I like the look of gazza's team. Just put Sanchez over Neymar, and Curtois as 2nd choice with Delac on loan instead (or in the reserves).
No more exams

CSTP - I can imagine if he does do it that ticket prices may be lowered, or that that more will be available through general sale, which would bring more fans to the matches.

I think it would be more realistic if he went for one of Villareal, Valencia, Sevilla, or Atletico Madrid if he really wanted to challenge Barce and RM.

BK - Not really, as it is at Man City, at the time they could have went for Everton/Villa/Spurs, as all were doing fairly well in mid table.

Getafe have new owners as well. Their take over cost about 79M.

Royal Emirates Group took over Getafe, and Racing were taken over in January as well by a Sheikh.

Happening quite a bit over there in La Liga.

Let's just see how the FFP rules work out then...

Should make La Liga v. interesting at least. In a couple years there could be more than 2 teams battling for the title, or if not then about 6 sides then could make up the other 2 CL places/2 Europa League spots.
Surely the likes of Valencia and At. Madrid (I think both are struggling considerably financially) will get 'kicked out' of this 'group'?

Don't think FP will work to be honest. Can't remember who was saying it in an interview, but there's apparantly a ton of loop holes in it to actually get around the rules.

If a team like Madrid or Barca go over there spending, you can bet they won't get kicked out. If it does happen you can bet that a breakaway league would form eventually.

Anyway, the rules won't effect anyone who isn't in a European competition such as the CL or Europa league. Getafe could spend up to 100M trying to get into Europe, aslong as they balanced it out when they were in, they would be fine.

Mornin'. Have we signed anyone yet? Im getting awfully tired finding out we'll sign someone by next week or the end of the week.

This "week" never seems to come.

Give me some good news.

Anderlecht management have said that the deal is not nearly done with Chelsea and that Lukaku will have pre-season with Anderlecht.

Thanks Steve. That's exactly what I meant.

The manager of Anderlecht said however that Lukaku would definately not be an Anderlecht player next season, but he's not definately going to Chelsea

So basically, they're being awkward and delaying to get a bigger fee from someone.

Hello lads, back in civilisation again.

Has much happened on the manager/transfer front this week?
