They're high quality players and they improve us. It's all we can ask for.

Gilmour should've got more time, especially as Jorginho looked gassed.

Couple of nice touches but that was all there was time for.

Feels like Tuchel doesn't really want Gilmour to have the opportunity to impress. He clearly made his mind up about him before preseason.

Obviously he has no future here under Tuchel. Just hope this doesn't come back to bite us as I fear it inevitably will

Timo Werner would like to go back to RB Leipzig. He is ready to accept halving his salary to leave #Chelsea this summer. Newcastle, Real Madrid and Juventus have all also shown interest.

Agree NPE. Gilmour may be good enough for Chelsea, but he has to prove it first which he certainly didn’t last season. That may not have been entirely his fault, but it’s all Tuchel has to go on so far. Have another go at having a successful loan season somewhere more appropriate - and if he does well, he’ll be given a chance like Gallagher.

Agreed.

I reject Biggish and Steve's suggestion he has had one or two games but been otherwise un-noteworthy, I think he had a very promising start to his career.

But he choose the loan and it went poorly, and his stock has fallen, so it's on him to change that.
