We definitely should sigh him. I know there's talk about waiting for Rice next summer but why not get De Jong this summer and Rice next summer. Both can easily play in the same midfield. What a midfield that would be. And the likes of Kante and Jorginho will likely be gone by then tbh.

Indeed. Only RWB that's a bit of a concern now, especially if Loftus-Cheek leaves as he's proved to be a decent backup there.

Alonso is getting 'closer and closer' to joining Barcelona. He has already said goodbye to some employees at Chelsea and the idea right now is to travel to Spain this weekend.
