I would have killed for Auba a few years ago before he joined Arsenal. Did an article on it.

Now I'm a bit less sure but if it's just for a season or two max then I guess I'll take it as we need a striker. There's a dearth of top strikers in the game right now so pickings are slim and Tuchel knows him well.

He was better at Barca last season though right ?

To compete with the top two we need imo

- another CB (hopefully Fofana)
- a long term Kante replacement
- a creative CM option
- a RWB to offer competition to James
- a goalscorer

I think we will get a couple of those things this window but it does hammer home we have a bit of a way to catch up in the league and it's likely a 2 or even 3 season job.

Yeah I'd have taken him after Dortmund but now that he's 33, I'm not so keen

Maybe a season loan if we're desperate for a striker. But I rather we stick Havertz and Broja

Not being an avid watcher of Barcelona I wouldn't know... Wasn't majorly aware of him being brilliant and it's also in a 2/3 teamfarmers league

Managers always think they can get something out of their boys others can't, and considering how painfully bad our attack has been for him I don't blame Tuchel for wanting a familiar face in there.

I'm fine with it. I'd be very fine with it if it was free, but we're paying 60mil for Brighton LB's atm so money's not worth thinking about
