Hahaha, wonder where they got that price tag from....
What do you mean, it's clear the price tag comes from adding 5 mil every week

I think Poch knows a lot more than he's saying. It's just a simple way to deflect media attention so he doesn't have to keep answering questions about transfers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree. There’s no way we know more about potential signings than Poch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly. When you play poker you don't show everyone your hand so I'm not sure why we should expect Poch to update us with up to date information that might jeopardize certain transfers happening.
Yep. Poch just telling porkies to the press.
Reminds me of this https://metro.co.uk/2019/01/10/christian-pulisics-father-contradicts-maurizio-sarri-chelsea-transfer-claims-8328924/
Poch probably frustrated we haven’t brought in any midfielders other then the ones expected to be farmed out. Needs at least 2 starting midfielders.
If we can’t get Caicedo and the scouts/directors can’t find a direct alternative that is gettable, then I think we’re better off just going with what we have.
Loan Casadei, keep Gallagher, integrate Santos, Carney and Hall.
And see if any of them turn into £100m players with some trust and game time.
#Chelsea have made an offer for Brighton's Robert Sanchez. Brighton are yet to respond to the bid but discussions remain ongoing.

Brighton are asking for a fee of around £30 million for Tobert Sanchez
Robert**
Express reckon over £30 million, 2 years left on current contract
Chelsea's goalkeeping coach, Ben Roberts, has been pushing and recommending his former team mate Robert Sanchez to Chelsea.
(Evening Standard)
If we can’t get a midfielder I’d move James into midfield.
Santos is the only one I can see playing in those deeper midfield positions. But he’s very raw. I like his positivity on the ball but I don’t think I’ve seen him win the ball back without giving away a foul. Gonna get a lot of yellow cards.

Yeah I'd be down with that. Caicedo was like a £5 million player a year or so ago so I'm more than happy just putting faith in the likes of Santos, Hall and Carney for the season, see how they develop. They've all looked good in preseason.

May be a good shout on Hall in midfield, don't see him getting much game time otherwise, suspect he will head out on loan tbh.
Robert Sanchez on loan would be better, rather not have him permanently

That is absolutely nuts. They’ve just bought a new keeper for £16m, Sanchez already left out of PL squads last season and now has almost no chance of even being on the bench for Brighton with two keepers clearly ahead of him.
Also he was absolutely terrible last season when he did play and we probably shouldn’t go for him at all.

Rather we went for Raya tbh if we are sticking with Prem keepers
Raya is better but the £40m asking price is also crazy considering he has only 1 year left on his contract.
Sky Sports - Al-Hilal have submitted a €140million bid for Victor Osimhen
40m for Raya is also excessive.
I don't see these keepers as better than Kepa.
Sanchez on loan preferably, like G7 said he was terrible last season when he played
Robert Sanchez has already accepted #Chelsea as his next destination.

Breaking: #Chelsea are in advanced negotiations with Levi Colwill over a new long-term contract and are confident of an agreement.
Talks over extending Levi Colwill's contract are at a crucial stage. Although #Chelsea are optimistic an agreement is close, negotiations are ongoing and the club must convince Colwill there is a pathway.
