I am not sure what Broja's incentive is to stay as third choice striker. He'd surely want to be sold.
Jackson goes to AFCON for a month. But yeah Broja will probably go out on loan or we might sell him.

Think you guys might be sleeping on Vlahovic, he's not crap. But at the same time Jackson looks fantastic so far and I'm very much looking forward to seeing what he can do as first choice striker with Nkunku behind him.
----------------------------------------------------
I'm looking at this as Lukaku will be out. Looks way more appealing when you frame it like that
Another striker wouldn't go amiss either. Good as Jackson looks we need three (including Borja) to avoid any temptations turning Nkunku into Havertz by shunting him up front.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd rather the money. It's not worth getting rid of Lukaku just to have another chain around our necks. Vlahovic is such a limited player. He had two decent seasons in the serie A but his underlying stats were always poor. His performances at Juve should be taken as a warning rather than a blip. When was the last time we signed an attacker from Serie A and it actually worked out? Need to learn our lessons and move on
Axel Disasi is scheduled to undergo his #Chelsea medical in London on Tuesday.

Talks will remain ongoing between Juventus and #Chelsea in the coming days regarding Dusan Vlahovic and Romelu Lukaku. A compromise could be reached if Juventus receive €30-35M as part of the swap deal.

So would I but no-one wants to deal. If trading cr@p for younger, cheaper (in wages) cr@p with potential resale value is the price, do it. And think it's probably one year, at least, too early to offer him termination.
Didn't even rate Vlahovic at Fiorentina, saw another Piatek (too much hype for too little reason), but might be decent. Jackson should start the season as #1 by right either way as he's had a full pre-season with us.
Tell Juve to give us Chiesa. He’s been injured for 2 seasons but we’ll still take him.
I was never convinced by Vlahovic either, but he’s 23 years old and if he comes he will presumably be on a third of Lukaku’s salary. If he doesn’t work out he would still have a value in 2-3 years, whereas Lukaku’s value is plummeting by the minute. Plus I assume Vlahovic will actually want to be at Chelsea, and won’t be such a negative figure in the dressing room.
There are only two places left in the world where we can send Lukaku. One is Saudi Arabia where he refuses to go, and the other is Juventus who have no money. A trade with Juventus is the best, and last, hope of ridding ourselves of that huge waste of space.

If Lukaku is good at one thing it's looking out for himself. Stick him with the reserves and he'll take the Saudi bag, especially after having soured the Inter deal himself.
Apparantly Lukaku contact Juventus when he was (cortectly)’ left out of CL finale starting IX.

#Chelsea are pulling together a shortlist of transfer targets in order to bolster the midfield options. Moisés Caicedo remains a top target. They are interested in Roméo Lavia, with Tyler Adams, Edson Álvarez and Gabri Veiga also under consideration.

Let's just hope we pull out of the Caicedo deal and go for Lavia and Veiga
Chelsea want to add more depth and experience and are considering Tyler Adams who has a clause in his contract, and Edson Alvarez. (@TomRoddy_)
Someone asked for Tyler Adams on here the other day. He's quite injury prone though

Surprised we haven't got for Tyler Adams, especially given the American ownership.
I was wondering the other day why we haven't gone back in for Edson Alvarez considering we want a DM? Deal was done on deadline day last summer & Ajax only blocked it cos they didn't have time to buy a replacement.
I know Ajax were sh!t last season but one year shouldn't change our minds on a player. If it does then there's a bigger overarching problem with our recruitment strategy.
Did we even have a recruitment strategy a year ago ? Seems there's been a lot of changes since then. Hopefully for the better.
