Gallagher’s like 5th choice CM when everyone’s fit, £50m+ is a good price

Gallagher is a connundrum. Vital to this current Chelsea squad but very likely non vital to any top four team. Ideally he stays for two more years, but club seem jntent on cashing in.

Decent option, no more than that

I think a lot of title winning teams have a Gallagher type of player in and around the squad. But with us, it feels like this current squad is built around him because the rest are so immature.

Because of FFP and the fact we spent millions on utter rubbish, I think we're kind of forced to sell him

He’s not the man for a top team but we’re so far off that level right now that we should be trying to keep our better players to move in an upward direction.

We worry about whether or not he’s elite, once we at a club become elite.

There’s so many inferior players who we should be getting rid of instead.

It also helps that playing for Chelsea actually means something to him.

Exactly, doing it in pre season is one thing. What about when it actually matters.

He went out on loan to Forest and didn't even make the match day squad. He's doing well in the French league now so I guess it'll be another loan again next season

I couldn’t care less what Forest did with him tbh, he looked good FOR US. If it was only pre season then why didn’t Gallagher look levels above him? He treats the ball like a bomb more often than not

Omari Hutchinson being tipped for a role in the squad next season as well after his Ipswich loan. 9 goals and 6 assists in 42 so far.
