Yeah, wasn’t bad tho.
England should be starting high energy. They should be playing like they play when they entered desperation. Anything less is unacceptable.
I can't tell if Palmer was ineffectual because the team lacked structure or if he failed to impose himself on the game. Also wasn't great vs Iceland.
Gallagher’s energy is important as a sub, he shouldn’t come on earlier
He was constantly asking for the ball back and getting into space giving them an option. But he was getting passed by. Tbh nobody looked good. Even Bellingham was crap until the goal.

Watch at the start when he comes on, every time Palmer gets the ball - no movement. You can just see him asking for a pass and everyone is standing still...... honestly was like watch "prime" pooch this season. Terrible team selection, 0 tactics and no movement.
Crazy with this talented squad England are still reliant on set plays.
Oh yeh and no subs until way way way too late
