I’d be surprised if Southgate made any changes. He won the game.

Damn. Well it what we all expected.

Slovakia had a 37 year old right back - and Southgate didn’t bring on Gordon for even 5 minutes. Just crazy how conservative he is. There’s no way he’s going to make any changes to the team for the next game.

Probably a good thing Steve Holland never took the Chelsea job on the evidence of this tournament.

It's so easy to balance this England team. The fact that Holland and Southgate can't see it is frightening

Individual brilliance will get England to the final. So many match winners in that team.

There is speculation we may play 3 4 3 agst Switzerland

When Bellingham scored I wasn’t even that happy just because I’d already given up and was so shocked. Wasn’t mentally prepared for that even though it was an all timer.

The solution in my mind, which would've been highly controversial, was taking Leif Davis.

The best LB candidate with the absence of Chilwell & Shaw not being fit... but you know, Championship & all that.

I thought Mitchell would have been fine in that role

Exactly! It makes me so frustrated. There are about 4 defenders who haven’t got on the pitch yet, but the argument for bringing them is that there are multiple positions in which they can be left on the bench. Whereas Mitchell only specializes in one position - the one where we don’t have a player available.

Guehi, who has been playing really well, will be banned for the next game because of a hospital pass from Trippier - playing at left back in spite of not having a left foot. I bet Guehi’s Crystal Palace teammate at left back wouldn’t give him such a terrible pass. Why in the world did Southgate not bring a fit left back?
