If we find a way to play Enzo deep in midfield where he can dictate play and start attacks. I don't want to see him in advanced positions in midfield and definitely not as a 10 like he was at times last season for reasons only known to Poch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite...his finishing is dog shat
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree. Although that criticism could be leveled at just about every player in our squad. It would be nice to have a good finisher.

He's our most creative player, not hard to find those reasons
It didn't work but was worth trying.
I hope Gusto’s injury isn’t serious.
Surprised by the lack of Murray comments
That was the last ever chance to do it
I thought he retired years ago.

I am still not convinced on Enzo in this Chelsea team. But in theory his best chance of success will be in a possession based team. Big season for him

This
Must be make or break season for Enzo after a decent start, and then an awful season last season (maybe due to injury) he needs to start well as you would argue he is now one of a few experienced players we have.
Lets hope Enzo M has a plan

Not sure about that, I'd say Palmer is our most creative player.
Either way, being creative doesn't necessitate playing as a 10. If that was the case then the likes of Pirlo would have played as a 10 instead of as a deep lying playmaker. Ryan Giggs would have played as 10 instead of out on the wing for most of his peak. It all depends on a player's attributes and abilities.
Enzo was very unconvincing as a 10 or as an advanced midfielder who would often get into positions typically occupied by a 10. And yet Poch insisted with it for far longer than he should when it clearly didn't work. That's my point. Fair enough to try it but don't keep repeating it when it clearly doesn't work.

Does anyone have that feeling that Gallagher is going to wait until Spurs make a bid for him before leaving?

I think he should stick it to the club anyway he sees fit.
Totally bored of Gallagher chat to be honest.... He's either a Chelsea player or he isn't
I still think Gallagher might go to Spurs. Ange would like him there I'm sure.

This is what I think but Spurs will probably come in in the last week of the window with a low ball offer of £20-25 million
Sky sports saying Gallagher is open to signing a new long term contract with us. Isn’t this what most players say when they have a year remaining on their contract only to run it down?
Gallagher rejected Villa, wonder what he’s old omh out for
Sounds like he wants a longer term deal. Can't say I really blame him, he sees us offering 5-7 year deals to unproven players and then is offered a 2+1 year deal himself. It just appears initially to me that the club want to extend his contract a little bit so that he has a better sale value, rather than valuing him as our player in the long term
I feel like Gallagher and Chalobah at work right now lol. The homegrown talent who came through the ranks is being undervalued by the people in charge. Meanwhile they’re spending a lot on bringing in outsiders who aren’t as good. For some reason there’s not as much preference to keep the loyal superior employees as happy as others who haven’t achieved as much.
Arsenal offloading Nkethia for 30m.....I'd quite like him at that price
No thanks. Championship quality striker.

We are back in for Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad apparently. Agent been in London for talks with Arsenal/Chelsea. Barca and PSG also interested.
