Dont agree - big squad and we need to build the communication in the team. We were playing B squad again, and its great if these guys and the young fringe players get game time. Shouldnt be taken seriously and used for fitness and getting players minutes

Still can't believe we play Badiashille or Disasi before him. Makes no sense. Our best defenders, Colwill and Fofana )think they could build a good partnership) and Chalobah after. A top class centre back woud be nice.

And are we thinking this is D-first half of the season for James too? Or does he get the whole season? Surely if he makes no more than a handful of starts it's off to SA? Cos it seems just stepping on a Prem pitch injuries him

Yes, this Marescaball does seem to leave us very open. I think we miss Lavia. Not sure any other player can really call themselves a defensive midfielder.

Do we know when he's coming back or what's actually wrong with him ? He looks an excellent player but if the cant can't stay fit for more than five minutes then what use is he.

I heard that it was just a slight strain, and he’s just out for a week or so. But we’ve all heard that before. If he misses the Crystal Palace game at least he’ll have the international break to recover

I'd be down for it if I was more invested in Chelsea as a whole atm. It's a competition we've never won, automatically makes it MUCH more interesting than Europa.

Also, I've heard, the Conference League isn't as f*cked by this new format as the Champions League & Europa are? If so, hell yeah lets be in this please
