I'd be down for it if I was more invested in Chelsea as a whole atm. It's a competition we've never won, automatically makes it MUCH more interesting than Europa.

Also, I've heard, the Conference League isn't as f*cked by this new format as the Champions League & Europa are? If so, hell yeah lets be in this please

The draw for the league phase of the Conference League will be held on Friday from 13:30 BST at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

Just like the Champions League and Europa League, there will be 36 teams competing in one league, with the top eight advancing into the last 16, while those finishing between ninth and 24th will compete in the knockout phase play-offs.

Each team in the Champions League and Europa League plays eight different sides once apiece, with four of those games at home and four away, but the Conference League is slightly different, with each club only facing six opponents, three at home and three away.

Yes, this Marescaball does seem to leave us very open. I think we miss Lavia. Not sure any other player can really call themselves a defensive midfielder.

Do we know when he's coming back or what's actually wrong with him ? He looks an excellent player but if the cant can't stay fit for more than five minutes then what use is he.

I heard that it was just a slight strain, and he’s just out for a week or so. But we’ve all heard that before. If he misses the Crystal Palace game at least he’ll have the international break to recover

Yeah that's true, he'd have a huge recovery time. Let's just hope he's back after the international break then, he's clearly a top player from what little we've seen of him.

🚨🇸🇦 Al Ahli have total agreement with Ivan Toney and his agents. Three year deal in place.

Medical tests also booked for English striker and £40m to Brentford.

↪️ Al Ahli have still no green light from Victor Osimhen despite club to club deal done with Napoli.

Senior sources in Saudi Arabia saying they do not see how it is possible for Al Ahli to sign Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney. Al Ahli do not have two slots available for two foreign players - unless one of them is Under 21. Saudi Pro League clubs are allowed 10 foreign players in their 25 player squads. 
We are also told they don't need another two strikers and they do not have the budget for both players.  To sign both players Al Ahli would have until Monday night's midnight SPL deadline to free up a slot by selling a foreign player.
