Gilmour to Napoli.

Good for Gilmour

Wasnt a fan of selling him, felt he certainly had something to offer us, and would atm still have him over Enzo (hope to be proven wrong in the near future.......unfortunently I doubt it)

If I had the funds I would acc try back this away day to Astana. Cheeky one in Kazakhstan, on my fantasy list of countries to visit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was hoping there would be a cool European trip on the cards but none of our opponents interest me. Hopefully we play Fiorentina later on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Athens is a nice place to visit
I hope Chalobah plays at Palace? Guehi is staying and they just spent £25m on Lacroix who I assumed replaced Andersen

Same. Among the youth who broke through in the Lampard years, Mount & Gilmour were the two I liked on first sight.
That Liverpool match in the cup (which I think was his debut?), he was phenomenal.
Sterling to Arsenal would be interesting, coz he's largely been garbage here so I'll be pleased for him if he does well. Just hope we're not paying a percentage of his monstrous wages there.

Yup very interested to see if Gilmour does well in Serie A. It should suit him and if anyone can bring the best out in him it's going to be Conte.
Sterling is a better player than Sancho and Mudryk.
Whit kinda mudfielder is he?
Can he tackle n brake up oponent pusession?
A bit surprised Arsenal didn't have a cheeky bid for Mudyrk instead.

If Conte's signed off on that he's got to have a plan, cos the way he thinks he'll try to protect him.
Possibly 5-4-1 (plane style) with Gilmour at the base & McTominay at the tip behind Lukaku?

Don't think that's his forte but he can do that. He's a baller, technically very good. Deep lying playmaker is what I think he is although haven't watched him over the last season so maybe Brighton tried something different with him.

That’s what I think too. He can get stuck in, but he’s more of a Jorginho type of player. Very comfortable on the ball, keeping it moving and keeping possession. I think he’ll do well in Italy.

Palace have been playing 5atb so I'm sure he'll get his chance
Looks like Sterling out and Sancho in might happen, both probably loans.
Osimhen seemingly not though.
If we don't sign a striker this window then does it really matter as long as Nkunku stays fit this season ? He identifies as a striker after all.
Just putting it out there as Osimhen doesn't look likely at this stage.
